  • Excellent accommodations, excellent host

"We loved it here. The place is spacious, comfortable, nice, and has all the small touches that make you feel at home. Cindy is a wonderful host who promptly answered all of our questions, going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The hot tub is a great bonus. If I head back to the area, I'll stay here again..."

  • Family Celebration

"We stayed 4 nights in this beautiful home in a well kept quiet neighborhood. We were in Kalispell for a family celebration. It was so nice to be able to spend time with family in a home environment rather than in hotel rooms. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. It was close to downtown and great restaurants although we did do some cooking on our own - such a nice option. We even found some time during our celebration to visit Glacier National Park also close by and easy to get to from this location. Thanks to the owners for a great experience! Our first with a vacation rental."

  • Great Vacation Property!

"This was a great property to stay at. Renovated and clean, it went beyond our expectations. Kitchen had an array of staples, from spices to flour. We cooked most meals there, never found anything we needed that they didn't have, even needed a cheese grater and they had that! Cabin does not have any cell reception but has open WiFi so that helped when we needed to connect (which was not very often!). Has satellite TV, as well. Large dining room table but we spent most of our time sitting at the bar looking at the river. Speaking of the river, theres some great fishing right out of the door! Caught something every day, every time we went out. The highlight was the 18" Rainbow Trout! Lots of Mountain Whitefish, caught a couple beautiful Brook Trout, too! Every day there were deer along the banks that we watched and even saw an osprey, eagle, beaver and skunk. Did not use the bunk house, but it had a small kitchen and bathroom in it, along with a bedroom and a loft. Great for another couple or the kids. Lots of books and quite a few games, although some games were missing pieces and vital parts (like the Yahtzee dice! Lol). Bathroom was well equipped and had some staples available to use in case you forgot something. Washer and dryer was definitely a plus! Hiking was great, but recommend the DRIVE to Mt Baldy, even though the trail head was right by the cabin! We like to hike but the difficulty of that trail was far beyond what we were willing to do! The drive up was great, beautiful views and we saw a moose and some mule deer. Northwestern Peak was a great hike, moderate difficulty but well worth it. Yaak Mercantile has basics to purchase, chips, staples, soda, beer, coffee (they have a small coffee bar, too), snacks, canned goods... get your groceries in Libby or Troy! Overall, loved the cabin, was very relaxing and we will be back!!!"

  • Beautiful mountainside Condo.

"My party of 3 spent three nights in this lovely condo. We appreciated the incredible view into the dense forest, the morning coffee on the porch viewing the deer and wild turkey on their morning run. Close enough to downtown for dining, shopping, and local hiking trails and a beautiful ride to Glacier National Park . We were very comfortable in the living and sleeping quarters and the kitchen is well appointed . We wanted for nothing ! As a note, although I won't check off the "age 55+" category, 2 of us are active healthy 68 year olds and had no problem with the entry stairs or spiral staircase linking the 3 floors. We really really enjoyed our stay and do wish it could have been longer. Many thanks to Sharon for her her great communication and hospitality."
