  • Beautiful home on a beautiful mountain for February skiing.

"The house is very spacious and the décor is wonderful for a mountain retreat. We had 7 adults stay and had more then plenty of room. It was also very clean. Each bedroom was large with its own bathroom which was great! Our group really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day skiing. It is shared with other units, but that did not pose a problem for us. But certainly wouldn't be adequate if all units were full to capacity and had to share. We had a few minor water issues with the dishwasher, nothing major that required a call, but handled ourselves. The kitchen is very well stocked with extra plates and serving dishes over the capacity of the house, which is nice. Slow cooker, blender, adequate pots and pans. It was a very pleasant surprise to find food items in the pantry, which evidently previous renters had left, seasonings, flour, syrup, canned tomatoes, etc. Only thing we missed was a griddle for pancakes, but there were multiple fry pans, so we made it work. The grill worked great also, but did need a cleaning. The walk to Homeaway run is alittle bit of a hike but also doeable. Only problem we had was we had rain and ice which made it hard to walk any where!! We had non-skiers with us, and after we got our bearings the walk down Wood Run Court street and through a walking path then back down Moose Run to the shuttle was a short walk. The mountain resort shuttle then can take you to the base lodge or up to the upper village. We have stayed on the mountain several times during ski season and usually stay in the upper village, so this was alittle different for us. Our group ranged in age from 22 to 60 years of age. Our concensus in the end was the house is more than adequate for a large group; but as for the walking the older ones in the group felt they would rather stay in the upper village. I think this decision was based on our rain and the ice on the uphill road which made it a very treacherous walk. Although we wouldn't hesitate to stay in the house again."

  • Wonderful Whitefish place to stay

"We recently stayed at this great place in Whitefish for 6 nights. Overlooking the Whitefish river and 5 minutes walk from the town it is an ideal location. Whitefish Lake is a 5 minute drive away and there is skiing about 15 minutes drive away. The house was great - it had everything we needed and more. At the end of our numerous day trips to Glacier National park, Kalispell, Bigfork and numerous rivers for fly fishing, it was great to come home to this lovely place which felt like home for the time we were there. Thank you so much for making our time in this area so enjoyable."

  • Beautiful and new in the heart of Whitefish

"We must have been the first guest in this lovely downtown condo. Everything is brand new and beautiful. The condo is warm and welcoming and we felt immediately at home there. We barely used our car except for the obligatory trip to Costco! Once equipped, we were able to walk to almost everything and use free transport directly to the lodge at Whitefish mountain. We enjoyed a the big new smart TVs and the wireless Sonos sound system plus high-speed WiFi. Both the bedrooms have VERY comfortable king beds with fine linens and the bathrooms were nicely equipped including a front-load washer and dryer in the master bathroom. The location is just ideal. We were able to walk to an amazing ice cream shop, Sweet Peaks, in less than a minute and within a five minute walk there were breweries, pizza joints, many fine dining options, live music, bars, pubs, scores of wonderful shops and much more. Did I mention recreation? We were there in the middle of winter and the skiing and snow boarding were amazing. The mountain is huge with a great variety of terrain and almost no crowds! Best of all, we were able to take the snow bus up and back almost door to door. We went for walks a couple of times and the Whitefish Trials come right into the city and go for miles and miles. These trails were groomed for walking and riding fat tire mountain bikes. They also connect to the broader trail network in the area which would be fantastic in summer for mountain biking or hiking. Whitefish lake was frozen over so we walked from the condo around the lake for miles and saw people ice fishing, XC skiing, skating and playing with dogs. Whitefish Escapes that manages this home was absolutely wonderful to work with and extremely responsive. They made the entry and departure seamless. Thank you! We will certainly be back to this beautiful and warm condo and town to explore more, fish, hike, cycle and visit Glacier National Park which is only a short drive!"
