  • Cozy and quiet!

"We enjoyed our stay in this delightful condo. A few issues to begin with but were resolved quickly. On top the mountain in summer is quiet and refreshing as well as close to spots we wanted to venture..."

  • Perfect jumping off place for the area.

"Our stay in this condo met all our expectations. Travellers were my husband & me, plus my daughter & her family, making 6 of us. Our bedroom was fine, & the other bedroom was perfect with a queen plus bunks for the 2 grandchildren. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook a few meals. We also enjoyed the onsite pool & hot tub. The location was exactly what we needed. We spent some time at the ski resort right up the hill. The lift to the top was spectacular, & the kids loved the Alpine Slide. Whitefish is 5-10 minutes away, & offered great restaurant choices, ice cream shops, & a great local bookstore. We lucked out & were there for the Farmer's Market. Of course, our main activity was visting Glacier National Park. It's an easy drive, so we took advantage of that multiple times during our stay. The owner couldn't be nicer or more helpful. A bonus, we got our deposit without having to ask & remind-not always true with the other VRBO rentals we've had."

  • Great location for a beautiful mountain vacation!

"We had prompt communication and no problems booking this rental. The house was just as advertised and was very clean and comfortable. There is a large outdoor hot tub (with sound system outside), jacuzzi tubs in two bathrooms (including a double size in the master bedroom), and a outdoor steam room with beds for three. The hot tub was all ready to use when we arrived, and we used it daily during our stay. The house is well stocked with condiments and some food staples and includes things you would otherwise buy, such as bear spray, laundry detergent, and large foam coolers with icepacks. This is a large house with king bed, queen bed, two twins and a double size sleeping mat as well as a sleeper sofa downstairs. It could easily be shared by two families if some of the kids didn't mind sleeping in the rec room. There was a nice pool table and darts that also was fun. There are wood fireplaces upstairs and downstairs as well as a wood burning stove in the master bedroom. We stayed in August and used the A/C, but this place would be wonderful for a ski trip! The location is about 15 minutes down the mountain from the ski area, where you can also zip-line (my 13 year old loved it!) and do other fun summer activities. It is about 10 minutes from the town of Whitefish. There are a few other cottages in the association, but it is essentially nestled in the woods with a few traffic sounds during busy times. Otherwise, it is very quiet. We saw two does and two fawns come to drink in an area close by while using the outside hot tub. The property manager is in a cottage next door, but we only saw him when he came to introduce himself and ask if we needed anything. You are about a 40 minute drive from the west entrance to Glacier. We spent two very long days in Glacier. Since the trip through the actual park from west to east is very slow, it takes a bit less than 2 hours to get all the way from the house to the east entrance through the park. It is a very scenic drive. If you stay in the ski village, you are another 15 minutes further from Glacier. I would highly recommend this place for a family or two families vacationing in this area! We whitewater rafted with Glacier Guides (class II rapids), and this was also lots of fun. We had a range of ages from 13 to 77 and everyone found this one of their favorite activities. Pick a sunny day because the water is chilly. We booked the rafting only a day ahead with no problems."

  • Beautiful lake, beautiful home!

"We (husband, myself and two daughters in their twenties) recently stayed for a week in this home and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The view of the lake was incredible from all bedrooms and from both the upper level great room and lower level family room/den. We alternated days of floating on the lake (highly suggest bringing a few of your own inflatables) and partaking in activities in the Glacier National Park area (red bus tour, hiking, white water rafting). The park is about an hour away so you may want to combine some activities into one day to save on driving time. Whitefish Lake is crystal clear and refreshingly cold. The house itself is great - very comfortable beds and a kitchen that is better equipped than mine is at home. We passed many happy hours sitting on the deck overlooking the lake and just enjoying eachothers' company. Patti and her husband were very easy to work with and have thought of everything in providing comfort for their guests. One night there was a wind storm which knocked out power (and downed a couple of large trees which luckily missed the house!) However, in spite of this - or maybe because of it - we had a fun evening playing pool and board games. We highly recommend staying here!!"
