  • Affordable, clean, hope to stay again.

"Susie is very helpful, always responds quickly to messages. It appears, from reading the guest book, that she stays at the condo herself periodically, and addresses issues and does updates while there. I appreciate that, it seems she is a very responsible, conscientious VRBO condo owner. We would rent this unit again. The condo was an affordable option for our large family (mom, dad and 6 kids) to stay right on the ski hill. The unit was clean, and well stocked, especially in the kitchen. The TVs pictured for the listing are old, and have been replaced with 3 good sized smart TVs, that was a nice surprise. The living room was smaller than I would have guessed, and could have been rearranged better with less tables, and more furniture, the TV on the wall maybe. We'd planned to use the hide-a-bed in the living room, but the space was too tight. So, we ended up buying a single air mattress and pump in downtown Whitefish, and put that at the foot of our Queen sized bed downstairs for one of our kids. The pool was colder than I would prefer, but the pool facility is fairly new and clean, has great bathrooms and showers, a steam room, and the outdoor hot tub was luxurious after a cold day of skiing. Just a heads up though, for any parents of young children hoping to rent this condo, the loft railings are spaced very far apart, wide enough a small child could fall through (a feature that could be easily remedied)."

  • A great cozy mountain retreat.

"The place was great for our party of 4. Lori greeted us with the keys and we settled in quickly. The location is great, with a less than 10 minute drive to Big Mountain. Access to the Ptarmigan pool facilities was a nice bonus after long cold days riding on the mountain. Nothing was missing from our stay here. House was well stocked and clean. Looking forward to a return trip to Big Mountain! Cheers and thanks for the memories."

  • Beautiful mountainside Condo.

"My party of 3 spent three nights in this lovely condo. We appreciated the incredible view into the dense forest, the morning coffee on the porch viewing the deer and wild turkey on their morning run. Close enough to downtown for dining, shopping, and local hiking trails and a beautiful ride to Glacier National Park . We were very comfortable in the living and sleeping quarters and the kitchen is well appointed . We wanted for nothing ! As a note, although I won't check off the "age 55+" category, 2 of us are active healthy 68 year olds and had no problem with the entry stairs or spiral staircase linking the 3 floors. We really really enjoyed our stay and do wish it could have been longer. Many thanks to Sharon for her her great communication and hospitality."

  • Great location for a beautiful mountain vacation!

"We had prompt communication and no problems booking this rental. The house was just as advertised and was very clean and comfortable. There is a large outdoor hot tub (with sound system outside), jacuzzi tubs in two bathrooms (including a double size in the master bedroom), and a outdoor steam room with beds for three. The hot tub was all ready to use when we arrived, and we used it daily during our stay. The house is well stocked with condiments and some food staples and includes things you would otherwise buy, such as bear spray, laundry detergent, and large foam coolers with icepacks. This is a large house with king bed, queen bed, two twins and a double size sleeping mat as well as a sleeper sofa downstairs. It could easily be shared by two families if some of the kids didn't mind sleeping in the rec room. There was a nice pool table and darts that also was fun. There are wood fireplaces upstairs and downstairs as well as a wood burning stove in the master bedroom. We stayed in August and used the A/C, but this place would be wonderful for a ski trip! The location is about 15 minutes down the mountain from the ski area, where you can also zip-line (my 13 year old loved it!) and do other fun summer activities. It is about 10 minutes from the town of Whitefish. There are a few other cottages in the association, but it is essentially nestled in the woods with a few traffic sounds during busy times. Otherwise, it is very quiet. We saw two does and two fawns come to drink in an area close by while using the outside hot tub. The property manager is in a cottage next door, but we only saw him when he came to introduce himself and ask if we needed anything. You are about a 40 minute drive from the west entrance to Glacier. We spent two very long days in Glacier. Since the trip through the actual park from west to east is very slow, it takes a bit less than 2 hours to get all the way from the house to the east entrance through the park. It is a very scenic drive. If you stay in the ski village, you are another 15 minutes further from Glacier. I would highly recommend this place for a family or two families vacationing in this area! We whitewater rafted with Glacier Guides (class II rapids), and this was also lots of fun. We had a range of ages from 13 to 77 and everyone found this one of their favorite activities. Pick a sunny day because the water is chilly. We booked the rafting only a day ahead with no problems."
