  • We loved Walking Bear Lodge!!

"This home is lovely and very comfortable. The setting is peaceful and quiet and is within a short drive to Whitefish and Glacier National Park. We had 8 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us. There were no negatives. There are steps in the home, so just be aware of that if anyone in your party has problems with stairs, although there are bedrooms and a kitchen on the lower level that does not require stairs. Great kitchen upstairs with room for all of us to gather. Everything we needed or wanted was there. The porches are awesome as well. We would absolutely return to this great home!!"

  • Beautiful, serene, and exceeded our expectations

"We've stayed at many Home-Away properties over the years and The Cedar Chalet exceeded our expectations. The owner and the property manager went our of their way to make us feel at home. Our flight arrived 12 hours late that day and the property manager stayed up to meet us at 1:30 AM just to make sure we were OK, explain how everything worked and let us know he was there to help if we needed anything. The Cedar Chalet is a beautiful and comfortable property. The hot tub was great and the 2 large screen TV's with hundreds of channels made the little time we had for relaxing in the evening great. The location feels like you're out and away from town, but when needed, a drive to town is about 12 minutes from the Chalet. The hiking in Glacier National Park is great. We enjoyed doing some good ones everyday. We'd very much enjoy coming back again."

  • Convenient!

"This condo worked well for our family of eight. We needed to be close to Kalispell but enjoyed being out in the woods. The heated bathroom floor was much appreciated! The kids loved the pool and hot tub. I loved being the only people there so they could holler and splash as kids like to do."

  • Beautiful mountainside Condo.

"My party of 3 spent three nights in this lovely condo. We appreciated the incredible view into the dense forest, the morning coffee on the porch viewing the deer and wild turkey on their morning run. Close enough to downtown for dining, shopping, and local hiking trails and a beautiful ride to Glacier National Park . We were very comfortable in the living and sleeping quarters and the kitchen is well appointed . We wanted for nothing ! As a note, although I won't check off the "age 55+" category, 2 of us are active healthy 68 year olds and had no problem with the entry stairs or spiral staircase linking the 3 floors. We really really enjoyed our stay and do wish it could have been longer. Many thanks to Sharon for her her great communication and hospitality."
