  • Beautiful, serene, and exceeded our expectations

"We've stayed at many Home-Away properties over the years and The Cedar Chalet exceeded our expectations. The owner and the property manager went our of their way to make us feel at home. Our flight arrived 12 hours late that day and the property manager stayed up to meet us at 1:30 AM just to make sure we were OK, explain how everything worked and let us know he was there to help if we needed anything. The Cedar Chalet is a beautiful and comfortable property. The hot tub was great and the 2 large screen TV's with hundreds of channels made the little time we had for relaxing in the evening great. The location feels like you're out and away from town, but when needed, a drive to town is about 12 minutes from the Chalet. The hiking in Glacier National Park is great. We enjoyed doing some good ones everyday. We'd very much enjoy coming back again."

  • Amazing lake front property in Whitefish Montana

"We recently spent a week in this home (Sept. 2016) and one word describes it, "Amazing". We are habitual HomeAway/VRBO users around the world, and this is hands down the best place we've stayed yet. It literally has everything you would need. The only thing you need to bring are your clothes and any food you want to eat. In my opinion, the pictures don't do this house justice. The setting is simply spectacular, with multi-level decks overlooking the crystal clear and calm Whitefish Lake, including a dock for your boat. It was so relaxing to either sit on deck and watch the sunset or hang out on the dock while the kids practiced their rock skipping. It's on the "quiet" end of the lake and therefore requires about a 20 min drive into whitefish, but this is a feature that we really enjoyed as we were looking for a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle. The beds are super comfy, each person is provide a cozy robe, and there is a game room in the basement with a pool table along with a wall of books for your reading pleasure. The open layout of the main level is great for connecting all of the rooms to the views out the picture windows in the main room. There are tons of activities nearby to include Big Mountain Ski Resort, Glacier National Park and the town of Whitefish. You will absolutely not go wrong by choosing to stay in this house for your western Montana vacation. Thanks again The Reagan Family from Atlanta"

  • Very nice, comfortable home with excellent furnishings.

"There were five of us in our group and we had plenty of space to gather or be off on own own. Great, convenient location. We felt we were far enough away from the busyness of in-town lodging yet town was less 15 minutes away. The kitchen was well laid out with high-end appliances; it was the perfect gathering place for our group. Nice furnishings made it feel like home. Only negative was there was no BBQ for grilling. Other than that we will definitely consider coming back when we plan our next trip to Glacier."

  • Whitefish Stay

"This place is a great place to stay in if you want to ski at Whitefish Mountain Resort or hike through Glacier National Park. The Park is a bucket list type of place; we had a great time."
