"This was a great property to stay at. Renovated and clean, it went beyond our expectations. Kitchen had an array of staples, from spices to flour. We cooked most meals there, never found anything we needed that they didn't have, even needed a cheese grater and they had that! Cabin does not have any cell reception but has open WiFi so that helped when we needed to connect (which was not very often!). Has satellite TV, as well. Large dining room table but we spent most of our time sitting at the bar looking at the river. Speaking of the river, theres some great fishing right out of the door! Caught something every day, every time we went out. The highlight was the 18" Rainbow Trout! Lots of Mountain Whitefish, caught a couple beautiful Brook Trout, too! Every day there were deer along the banks that we watched and even saw an osprey, eagle, beaver and skunk. Did not use the bunk house, but it had a small kitchen and bathroom in it, along with a bedroom and a loft. Great for another couple or the kids. Lots of books and quite a few games, although some games were missing pieces and vital parts (like the Yahtzee dice! Lol). Bathroom was well equipped and had some staples available to use in case you forgot something. Washer and dryer was definitely a plus! Hiking was great, but recommend the DRIVE to Mt Baldy, even though the trail head was right by the cabin! We like to hike but the difficulty of that trail was far beyond what we were willing to do! The drive up was great, beautiful views and we saw a moose and some mule deer. Northwestern Peak was a great hike, moderate difficulty but well worth it. Yaak Mercantile has basics to purchase, chips, staples, soda, beer, coffee (they have a small coffee bar, too), snacks, canned goods... get your groceries in Libby or Troy! Overall, loved the cabin, was very relaxing and we will be back!!!"
