  • Cottage in the Woods!

"As soon as we arrived we noticed the awesome smell of a pie..to discover a freshly baked Huckerberry Pie awaiting us! We had pie from a few other places during our stay, but this was the best by far. The cottage was perfect for our week of hiking and enjoying GNP. Very clean with park maps and bear spray to use. The craftsmanship displayed when the owners remodeled after their purchase was excellent, showing an attention to detail. The cottage is on a large property with a fire pit with wood provided to enjoy the evenings. The owners we're very accomodationg and offered great suggestions on places to eat and see. I would like to return soon! Highly recommended!"

  • Avoid the GNP Crowds

"If you do not like the crush of humanity at national park entry towns like West Glacier, this off the grid home is perfect. A short ride to the park or town, but peace and quite when you're here. And furnished the way one would expect a Montana hunting lodge to be. Our daughter/son-in-law and their dog joined us for several nights so got to meet Ty who brought out extra linens. We only saw 1 deer but is you choose to explore the surroundings on foot, be bear aware. We did not, the views from the deck were fine enough, especially with the propane firebowl for the cool evenings. As VRBO owners also, we appreciate the detail and sharing of special places like these."

  • Fabulous home, perfect for large family!

"This home really put the rest and relaxation in our vacation!! Traveling by car across the country to spend time with family at Glacier National Park can make one weary. After spending a great deal of time in the car to get to Montana and then touring the park in the car and hiking also, the family was happy but tired each evening. Being able to come back to this beautiful, peaceful, clean, well-equipped home was a blessing! Sarah and Ryan have thought of everything one needs to have a home away from home. We enjoyed home-cooked meals, croquet, board games, watChing the NBA Finals, and more. Their rental binder was thorough and helpful, and they were lovely to work with. We hope to visit again someday and would make this our first choice of places to stay."

  • Texas Two

"The property was very clean and well organized. there were plenty of deer, even in the area right off the front deck in the morning as we had coffee. The river was beautiful access was easy even for an old goat like me. our only regret was not having enough time to do and see everything."
