  • Fabulous house!

"This was a most excellent house, great set up for a bigger group especially with kids. There are some kid-friendly aspects of the house that are pretty neat including a chalkboard tunnel. The walk through the yard to the river is short and a great place to Sol your feet in or take a quick dip. David, the owner, was always just a phone call away and ready to help if needed! I would say the only downfall was location and that was only because most of outings planned were past Whitefish to Glacier and further which just added an extra 15 minutes or so to all the driving we were already doing. I would suggest anyone wanting to do more hiking and visiting of Glacier should stay closer to Columbia Falls area to avoid the extra driving. But if your planning on spending a lot of time at the cabin and in Whitefish this is an excellent option for renting!"

  • The best decision we made for the wedding!

"The Stone Tower venue was absolutely stunning. It awed all of our guests and made them feel like they were in a fairytale. Peggy (the owner) is the hardest working person I've ever met. I woke up at 630am the morning of the wedding and saw her working away in the garden and tucking things away to make everything picture perfect. She was so flexible and understanding about what we wanted to move or set up. We had some of our family stay with us in the house and barn and it was perfect. It sleeps like a ski house so we just gave everyone that heads up that there were only two rooms with doors but no one minded at all. We had our rehearsal dinner in the house and the space worked perfectly. The only thing complaints from the 4 days we spent there was that the barn was hot upstairs even with the windows open at night and the house was hot during dinner. Which really wasn't a big deal. We had around 75 guests at the wedding and it was perfect. It wasn't crowded and it wasn't empty. There was plenty of room for people to move around. We used the first two horse stalls that are opened up for the buffet and pie table. We held cocktail hour and dancing outside of the barn. We couldn't have picked a better venue and we made so many memories there with out family. Peggy even let us pick the raspberries and cherries that filled the property. We sat out the deck and watched the stars every night. It was all too amazing. It was a dream and Peggy works every day to find ways to make it even more accommodating even though it's already too perfect. And any questions you have, she has the answers."

  • Great location

"The owner was in touch with us immediately when we inquired about the house. The house became our home away from home. Comfortable, lots of room with everything we needed available to us. The location was convenient to all our day trips from Glacier National Park to all the Flathead Valley. So much to do, so beautiful. Forget a hotel for your family, this house is the best."
