  • Great place for a family vacation

"The house was more than adequate, very comfortable, and a great setting for our Christmas vacation. The property was clean and well maintained. We shopped for food locally and ate all of our meals at the house. It was also very close to the town of Whitefish as well as the ski resort."

  • Great downtown location and extremely helpful property management company

"My wife and I enjoyed this location while hosting friends in downtown Missoula. It's hard to beat a clean and cozy location within walking distance to everything downtown at an affordable price. Kitchen recently remodeled and appliances are new. Towels, linens and paper products all provided. Large dinner table with plenty of seating to host. Suggest staying here if you're visiting the city of Missoula and want a flavor of the neighborhood or participate in a town event (run, parade, college event, etc.). My wife and I walked to various restaurants, breweries and a show during our stay. Beer bar and mini market with great to-go sandwiches on the same block. Only major regret is not having dinner at The Pearl, located next door. Maybe next time..."

  • Amazing log cabin on beautiful Spoon Lake

"The description and pictures of this cabin on Spoon Lake seemed too good to be true, but as soon as we arrived we knew we were in for a great week. The custom log cabin (which is more like a small lodge) is very comfortable and furnished with an assortment of rustic furniture and decorations. It easily accommodated our family of 6 adults and 2 young children. There is a wonderful view of the lake from the front porch, and the tall trees surrounding the cabin made us feel like we had the whole lake to ourselves. The lake water is crystal clear and we saw and heard a pair of loons every day. There was also a large family of ducks that showed up next to the dock as soon as they saw us. We saw, but could not catch, several largemouth bass, and our grandsons had a ball catching small perch while fishing from the dock. We used the canoe several times each day for fishing, or just to explore the shoreline. We had the good fortune of being here during a week of warm weather and went swimming off the dock every afternoon. The lake bottom is soft, so a swim tube or inflatable raft are recommended. Even though the setting made us feel like we were in the wilderness, Columbia Falls and Whitefish are both full service communities a short drive away. Glacier National Park is close by and easy to find, although we learned that in July you have to get there very early in the day to find any parking at popular stops along the Going to the Sun Road. Owners Jackie and Gib Black are great hosts and did everything possible to prepare us for our stay and answer our questions promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at their "home" on Spoon Lake."

  • Breathtaking fall getaway

"My friend and I stayed here for a week. My family had a cabin on Bull Lake when I was growing up but it's no longer there so I wanted to revisit the lake and share it with an old friend. The cabin had everything anyone could want, had comfy beds with great separation for privacy. It was well stocked for cooking and the views were amazing! Saw bald eagles and deer in the yard every morning. Karen advised us on where to hike and what to see while we were there. I will definitely be renting this cabin again and inviting my family next time."
