  • Truly one of the best weeks of my life.

"I can honestly say that this cabin was perfect for our family of four to use as home base as we explored Glacier and the North Fork area. It is far enough away from the park so that you feel completely isolated, but close enough for leisurely day trips to experience Bowman and Kintla Lakes, or a longer outing across the Going-to-the-Sun Road to Many Glacier. It's off the main gravel road so that you can't hear or see tourist traffic. Polebridge is also close and a great outing for a huckleberry pastry at the Mercantile for breakfast or for dinner and a cocktail at the Northern Lights Saloon. A float down the Flathead River was also a highlight. The cabin itself is delightful and full of creature comforts like big squishy recliners and flannel sheets that take the edge off the cool summer nights. The kitchen has everything you need and there is plenty of room to store food for a few days of living in the woods like a hermit. One delight was taking baths in the claw-foot tub and being able to flush the toilet but still be off grid! The owners have made the place very comfortable for folks that might not want to leave all comforts behind, and the generator and water heater/pressure tank system worked perfectly for that. There is also a clothes washer and a clothesline for keeping from smelling like a hermit, even if you do act like one for a few days. The porch is screened to protect from mosquitos and no-see-ums that can be thick in the summer. There are a few tables out there too for playing cards or eating dinner in the fresh air. A hummingbird feeder provides hours of entertainment. The owners of the property have spent years making this cabin into the little home away from home that it is now. It is obvious that they have loved it well and they have curated all the contents of the cabin with an eye for unique rustic looks and dependable functionality. They are great to work with and responsive to messages. We will definitely try to get back to this cabin for years to come. My two daughters took an experience away from this week that will no doubt be one they will never forget."

  • This Flat is a Bucket List Must!

"This is the most luxuriating rental we have enjoyed in our many years. The minute you step in the door, you feel as if you landed in heaven. Amazing design and decor, 180° views of mountains from the 7th floor, stone and tile and hardwood floors comparable to an Italian estate, and the perfect location to stay in Missoula. We have decided to move to Missoula because our time in this condo allowed us to see the very best of the area. Thank you for the pleasure of living this memorable time. The weather was cold in December, but the "palace" was cozy and unforgettable. ps The copper tub bubble bath was better than any spa!"
