"We felt like we were kids again! Traveling with two dogs and wanting a fun place to lay our heads for the night, this was perfect. The only thing we were bummed out about is that we couldn't stay longer. This was such an awesome experience for us - the quiet open area, the clean air and the insane stars! The owners were so accommodating, flexible and cool. They were the icing on the cake! Can't wait until we are passing through again~"

  • Great rental, conveniently located, lovely owners

"The description is not exaggerated. It really is a cozy get-away, a beautiful home under the big Montana sky, quiet, conveniently located for trips to Butte, Anaconda, Philipsburg, Deer Lodge, Fairmont Hot Springs, and more, including up into the nearby public lands for camping, fishing or hunting. Very close access to the interstate (I-90), but not loud crowded or congested. Lisa and Russ are salt-of-the-earth people, hard working, helpful, and friendly. They are the neighbors you wish you had where you live now. Their two grown children, Nate and Mamie, are just as helpful and kind, if you have the good fortune to meet either. The price is a steal, so make your reservations now, before more people "discover" this treasure. You just can't beat it. New carpet, new flooring, new paint this year. Plenty of room for your hunting, camping, fishing gear. LOVE the big mud room where I could take of my mucky boots and outer gear after a day along the Big Hole River. Love love, LOVE the handmade hat and coat rack in the mud room. I'm not a TV fanatic because I prefer to get to know the local people around me rather than watch TV. I loved the quiet. And you can see so many stars at night! The parking lot that accesses the recently developed Copperway Trail is a very close drive or bike ride, then a perfect 3-mile walk or run (or bike ride), round trip, from the parking lot to the Fairmont highway and back -- a perfect way to get in your workout. You cross over Silver Bow Creek a couple times, which has been reclaimed in recent years from the severe trauma it suffered at the hands of mining interests in the 19th and 20th centuries. You'd never even know, without having either grown up there, read about it or seen pictures. The people of Butte, Anaconda and P-burg are so friendly. Be sure to go to the tasting room at the Head Frame distillery in Butte, where you can sample their own recipes. And don't forget to go to the Mining Museum, ride the trolley, and take a walking tour of the historic area uptown. If you go to Philipsburg, be sure to see the museum, the sapphire store and homemade taffy store. Also, I highly recommend taking the longer scenic drive over Mill Creek Pass, down along the Big Hole River, through Wisdom and to the Big Hole Battlefield and back. Very worth the drive, the beauty and the history lessons, if you make the time do it. I really had a restful time. My heart really needed this get-away."

  • Wonderful experience

"Each of the rooms at Silver Bow Club has been uniquely decorated and spacious. This resort was a former private residence and has continued to retain a homey ambiance. Not only was there a library room but also a recreation room. The kitchen was professional and the food prepared by the private chef was scrumptious. There were two fire pits. One was on a small beach area for private picnics. My husband had a great experience fly fishing along the 3.5 miles of private river on this gorgeous property. Adam made each guest feel special which enhanced our experience. We hope to return soon. I recommend going to website of the Silver Bow Club to explore and then contact Adam to explore options."
