"I spent two weeks in Val's Barn and what a treat. Whenever I was there, I was drawn to the windows for the 360 degree views of the mountains, and the animals in the fields: deer, pheasants, turkey, eagles, coyotes, and of course, her horses, cows and her two labs. I was made to feel right at home, along with my dog, in a beautifully constructed and well cared for barn apartment. Others in their reviews have well described the fit and finish of the barn apartment.
Out on Springhill, the busy town of Bozeman was out of the way, but only a fifteen minute drive back into town for a great dinner or the resources there. Quiet permeates the location, yet skiing at Bridger is only forty minutes.
I was there for two reasons, to ski Bridger and to work with a real estate agent in an attempt to re-locate to Bozeman. Val turned out to be a great local resource, and the location of the barn made striking out in any direction easy. When two weeks ended, it was hard to leave
