  • Very nice place to stay, clean, quiet and plenty of room for all.

"Beautiful.... The home was large, comfortable and very clean. The property was beautiful and the farm animals are a nice touch. The wildlife was all over and having your morning coffee on the huge deck overlooking the mountains doesn't get any better. It was a perfect match for our large group of people and would not hesitate to stay there again."

  • Thank you Michael for sharing your wonderful Cabin with guests. Location is serene in forest.

"We rested well in a very quiet forested mountain top Cabin. Your own work in building the cabin shows wonderful craftsmanship and placement of the logs. Your design is beautifully laid out in the floor plan. Electric power, stove , refrigerator, microwave, fireplace and indoor plumbing with shower was greatly appreciated. We heard coyotes at 4:30 a.m. one morning. Saw dozens of deer. My wife and I enjoy remote mountainous areas to enjoy the beauty and serenity of nature. We definitely would book this Cabin again. • Place was great

"We had a great time staying at Serenity. The owners Kevin and Tammy were very pleasant and helpful. The house is situated in a beautiful location with wonderful scenery. We went skiing at red lodge and the slopes are directly outside the window. Our kids loved the hot tub and home theater and we would have went hiking if it weren't in the winter. We are planning to try and book this location in the summer too, simply amazing location."

  • Cute cabin in a great location on the river. We'll be back.

"As to the four star rating...I'm not sure what it would take for me to give out five stars but it would probably include a chef and a butler. This place feels like you are staying in the family cabin, comfortable and unassuming. It is in a great spot on one of my favorite rivers in one of my favorite places, the Stillwater Valley. The Stillwater River is really a misnomer as it is actually pretty raucous except for the lowest few miles where it flows into the Yellowstone River. Makes for great noise at night to fall asleep to. Based on the description and emails with the owners there were no surprises about the amenities. Everything worked well and was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook like we were at home as far as pots, pans etc. and a new Weber grill on the deck next to the river. Looking around the place you can feel the presence of the owners' parents. I read their story and am jealous that they were able to spend so many happy years there. Having stayed at a number of vacation rental homes that looked and felt like they were purchased and provisioned to be vacation rentals it was refreshing to stay at a place that felt like were staying at a friend’s cabin, everything well taken care of but comfortable. The back deck looks across the river to the horse pastures and up into the hills. Saw tons of Mule Deer and Turkeys. I can't wait to get back to fish the really tasty looking water out the back door when the weather is a little better as it was pretty brisk when we were there at the end of November. There is hiking on the BLM land right across the road and a brief drive to National Forest."
