  • Country Scerenity, town convienience.

"This very nice cabin is just outside of Big Timber, yet in a very private setting, complete with Yellowstone river frontage. The inside was well kept and definitely Montana. There is plenty of room for up to 8 I would say. It is only a couple minutes to downtown Big Timber, and only a couple more to the interstate. It was so nice being able to relax in a country setting, take walks thru the property and notice all the deer, birds , and the beautiful Yellowstone river. I was not lucky enough this trip to take a guided fishing trip with the owner, a professional guide for trout, but will return to do that some time this year. It is also centrally located between Yellowstone N.P. and Red Lodge along the interstate. I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone from fisherman , hunters, nature lovers, heck anyone who wants to experience Montana at it's best!"

  • Perfect Montana Getaway!

"A simple review cannot summarize the perfection of this place. All of the little details make this cozy cabin a retreat to remember. To top it all off, we made sure to book some time at the ranch for a horseback ride and had no idea how amazing our experience would be. Everyone welcomed us to the ranch like we were old friends and we had one of the best afternoons of our vacation. Thank you Bill and Shelly for providing an experience we will never forget!"

  • The perfect place to stay

"Our family had a wonderful stay at the Lewis and Clark cabin. It was our first time in MT and we couldn't have asked for a better place. The cabin is well appointed and comfortable with everything that you need. The property is beautiful and the fishing hole was the perfect place for my boys and I to learn how to fly fish. There's a beautiful stretch of the Yellowstone River that is easily accessible and close to the cabin. The Vermillions were very hospitable and had many good suggestions for how to access the Yellowstone Park (an incredible day trip). We booked a fishing guide for the first day that we were there through Sweetwater travel, and boy were we glad we did! Our guide Casey was patient in helping me and my sons (freeing up time for my husband, who already knew what he was doing) and he also showed us all the beautiful local spots to fish, including the nearby Bolder River which was picture perfect and so beautiful. All in all...this cabin was the perfect place to "come home to" after being out all day. Beautiful views, a comfortable screened-In porch, a new washer/dryer and the most comfortable beds. We hope to be able to come back again some day!"
