  • This cabin is attractive, well-furnished, spacious, and very clean and comfortable.

"The Wild Rose cabin is well-furnished, attractive, spacious, very clean and comfortable. There are two cabins on the property, but there is plenty of privacy as the cabins are separated from each other. Slept like a baby on the memory foam topper on the bed. We loved the cabin, but the views and the setting are the real show-stoppers. The cabins are right on the Yellowstone River in gorgeous Paradise Valley. Looking out from the front windows are a small pond, steps from the front porch, with the river in the middle ground and the beautiful Absaroka Mountains reaching to the sky on the other side of the river. The view is breathtaking and we must have taken 100 photos of this view at different times of the day. On the river are boats floating by with fly fishermen casting for trout, with bald eagles flying about. Across the river in a meadow was a herd of antelope. We wanted to stay there forever. If you can tear yourself away from the cabin, Yellowstone entrance is only 30-45 minutes away. KBAR in Gardiner has terrific pizza, plus local color. In Livingston, don't miss the Yellowstone Gateway Museum. Hiking and horseback riding stables are nearby if you aren't into fishing or photographing scenery and wildlife. We had a wonderful experience here."

  • Very nice place. Make sure you have 4 wheel drive in winter.

"We loved the wood fire place and the wood split and ready for our use. It was great to have three separate rooms all with private bathrooms as well. The place was clean and well stocked. The only down side was getting in and out. We had snow and wind and large drifts nearly kept us in. Owners were very nice and came out with a snow blower to help us out. We would definitely stay there again."

  • Cozy cabin with an extra special loft

"The Grizzley cabin was lovely, well stocked and decorated nicely with a beautiful wildlife art. We had no problems getting our zzzzz's in the super comfy beds. And when it turned cold, the wood burning stove was a nice treat. The location is great for visiting Livingston or Yellowstone park, and Chico's Hot Springs is right down the road."

  • Best Vacation Ever

"Our family of 5 called Chico Peak home for 6 nights. It was very difficult to leave this peaceful retreat. After long days in Yellowstone, we were always happy to return to our house under the mountain. The view was breathtaking. I could have stayed in the home without any other adventures and been completely content. In addition to the mountain, we watched elk and enjoyed bird watching from the back patio. The home is situated on a lot of property so you will not have another rental or another home close to you. It is extremely private (which we loved). We journeyed almost everyday to the park which was about a 40 minute drive of even more beautiful scenery. The drive never got old as we enjoyed looking for wildlife and watching the Yellowstone River wind through the hills. This rental is everything I would expect and hope for with a family vacation. I would recommend to the rental management company adding general guidelines for the sauna. As they replied promptly to all our questions and it is easy to turn on, we didn't know how much water to add to get it started or what temperature is best to start with. We tweaked the temperature as we learned, but without general guidelines it was trial and error at first. The sauna was amazing after long hikes and my husband called it "the miracle cure." There is a great general store right down the road in Emigrant which we used everyday to stock the cooler. My husband also enjoyed fishing close to home and the angler store in Emigrant was really cool. We would recommend this property to all our family and friends and plan to do so as some plan to visit next year after hearing about our stay."
