  • Best location at Big Sky and a great mountain!

"We travel extensively as a family and alternate ski trips between Vail and other destinations. This was our first trip to Big Sky and could become our new focal point! The review title is an inside joke. Mariusz, with High Altidude Property Managment said this while giving us a tour of the home. I chuckled because everyone says this but when you walk 5 steps from your door to step into your ski bindings your pretty sure it's the truth. The home is very nice, lots of room for everyone. Viking range, dedicated wine fridge, separate ice maker, hot tub, great boot dryer, quality cookware, two dishwashers, two washer/dryer units, pool table etc.. This is a home not a rental unit. Big Sky is beautiful! We have skiers from expert to beginner and nobody could ski much of their terrain in one week. The only downside might be the slightly slower lifts. But when you never stand in line a few extra minutes on the lift is welcome. Big Sky is more laid back and has a much smaller village than most ski areas, but great food, skiing and people."

  • A true Ski-in/Ski-out – 5 step rule

"For any winter sport enthusiast, nothing seems more appealing than convenience, defined as the state of being able to proceed with something with little effort or difficulty. Right next to the definition should be a picture of The Diamond Hitch house in Big Sky. I come from a family of PSIA certified ski instructors – people who are dedicated to skiing and travel many times throughout each year to find the best snow, amazing mountains and awesome accommodations – accommodations that can function for many different ages and levels of ability which brings with it a ton of gear and multiple different needs. Not an easy feat to achieve. Fortunately, this rental property overdelivered on all expectations. Being a true ski-in/ski-out property, you’ll be pleased to find yourself sitting on benches in the heated garage with plenty of space to put on your gear, which has already been drying overnight in the large multi-boot/glove dryer attached to a wall alongside ski racks and coat hangers. And not to worry of wet floors, slippers are provided to ensure dry feet while putting on your warm boots. If that isn’t convenient enough, there is a large, full service kitchen with plenty of storage, a dining room that can serve up to 20+ people for dinner comfortably which spills out into their great room, perfect for entertaining while watching the sun hit the Spanish Peaks every evening. On top of that, there are private bathrooms attached to each bedroom – a lovely, commonly overlooked detail that makes privacy easy, allowing for multiple families to rent together. I haven’t even mentioned the hot tub, steam room, dry sauna and media room which simply enrich the entire experience. Diamond Hitch at Big Sky is the place to be!"

  • Spacious with a wonderful tree topen view and great modern amenities. Well stocked kitchen.

"At the time of our stay the property was managed by the owner. Although a couple of things needed attention he was as quick to respond as possible considering he was not in the same city."
