  • Unbelievable Montana retreat!

"Just finished an outstanding 2 week stay at the lodge. Such a peaceful, serene setting. I am still dreaming of the afternoons spent sipping a beer and gazing at the fields and national forests in the background. Our toddler ran all over the huge lawn, and couldn't get enough of waving hi to the horses in the adjacent properties. 20 minutes to west glacier national park entrance, ~15 min to whitefish. We are already thinking of when we could come back. Brian is an gracious owner, and lives in the adjacent house. He definitely stays out of your way, but is also available for any issues that come up or to lend advice on what to see. When our rental car picked up a nail in the tire, he brought out an air compressor to fill up the tire so we could get to the shop! Also gave us great advice to head up to Polebrdige for pastries and up to Bowman Lake for a less crowded but gorgeous afternoon on the lake-beach. You should know that internet is provided, but really slow (I clocked 0.5mb/sec), which is fine because you're here to enjoy nature, not read Buzzfeed. However don't come in expecting to stream netflix. Also there is no air conditioning, which is fine for 90% of summer days, since evenings are quite cool and the house is designed to stay cool with its vaulted ceilings. However there was a heat wave ending the day we arrived, and so the first afternoon was a hot one, but every day after that was fine."

  • Great Location for Getaway

"There were two couples of us that rented the house during the first week of September. The house is wonderful, it had everything we wanted. It was very secluded, but yet there are restaurants close by. The pictures of the house did not do it justice, particularly the deck, it was plenty big with a great view of the river and mountains. We were a little concerned about the traffic noise because of the close proximity to the highway, but that was not a problem. The bald Eagle that landed on the tree next to the house was an added bonus. Look forward to staying again."

  • Amazing home!

"We just had the pleasure of spending 4 days and 5 nights in this beautiful home, and would have stayed longer if we had the time. It easily and comfortably accommodated two families with 5 active boys and the pool table and foosball tables were a big hit! It is close to both Bozeman and Belgrade, with easy access to fishing, skiing, and walking or hiking trails. Most of all, we really appreciated Dan and Nancy's hospitality, who made us feel so welcome and were available with any questions we had both day and night. We will definitely be back!"

  • Comfortable and just like home

"Truly a home away from home - the home was very comfortable, clean and welcoming - it was just like home. I highly recommend the stay and as we visit Kalispell often with baseball we will be booking again. Thank you for opening your home for us. Cheers Trudy"
