  • The best decision we made for the wedding!

"The Stone Tower venue was absolutely stunning. It awed all of our guests and made them feel like they were in a fairytale. Peggy (the owner) is the hardest working person I've ever met. I woke up at 630am the morning of the wedding and saw her working away in the garden and tucking things away to make everything picture perfect. She was so flexible and understanding about what we wanted to move or set up. We had some of our family stay with us in the house and barn and it was perfect. It sleeps like a ski house so we just gave everyone that heads up that there were only two rooms with doors but no one minded at all. We had our rehearsal dinner in the house and the space worked perfectly. The only thing complaints from the 4 days we spent there was that the barn was hot upstairs even with the windows open at night and the house was hot during dinner. Which really wasn't a big deal. We had around 75 guests at the wedding and it was perfect. It wasn't crowded and it wasn't empty. There was plenty of room for people to move around. We used the first two horse stalls that are opened up for the buffet and pie table. We held cocktail hour and dancing outside of the barn. We couldn't have picked a better venue and we made so many memories there with out family. Peggy even let us pick the raspberries and cherries that filled the property. We sat out the deck and watched the stars every night. It was all too amazing. It was a dream and Peggy works every day to find ways to make it even more accommodating even though it's already too perfect. And any questions you have, she has the answers."

  • Refreshing, Relaxing, Rejuvenating

"Many friends go to Florida for the winter. I figured, why not go to the mountains and Yellowstone Park in October! I was not disappointed with my decision. The house is spotless, comfortable, has an open floor plan, is within blocks of the entrance to the park and the historic Roosevelt Arch. The kitchen is fully stocked, there is a washer and dryer and dishwasher - what's not to love!!. Not to be missed are the Elk hanging out on the athletic fields of the Gardiner School just blocks away. It is a beautiful time of year. The Aspens started the month being flame yellow against the pines. The weather is changeable but that means you get new scenery every day as the light changes. From cloud filled days that you can watch come through the Paradise Valley or get hung up on Electric Peak to sky blue, sunny days. It is ever changing. Photographers would have a heyday, not only here in Gardiner but, of course, in the park as well. During October the Park does start to close down facilities but there is still more than enough to do. Pack a lunch and head on through. Traffic is cut way back so you have time to slow down, relax and just gaze at the scenery. It has been a wonderful month in a terrific home with Barbara as a terrific hostess. The welcoming brownies are becoming legend, her hospitality is un matched. Barbara is very knowledgeable about the area, it's history, geology, architecture, astronomy - you name it. A very kind and helpful host. I'll be back. Thanks again."

  • Very nice place to stay, clean, quiet and plenty of room for all.

"Beautiful.... The home was large, comfortable and very clean. The property was beautiful and the farm animals are a nice touch. The wildlife was all over and having your morning coffee on the huge deck overlooking the mountains doesn't get any better. It was a perfect match for our large group of people and would not hesitate to stay there again."

  • Spectacular Visit

"My husband and I are from Oregon and booked this rental for three weeks in October. We wanted to experience Montana; the Bozeman area specifically. We would give this rental the highest rating. This home is incredibly private. We never knew if the owners were around. We had our own private entrance, the use of a completely clutter free three car garage and felt like the property was entirely ours during our visit. There is everything you need in this home for your comfort. Both bedrooms were spacious, comfortable and you have full use of a large closet and empty dressers. We slept in the King bed and it was wonderfully comfortable. There is a large selection of linens, towels, blankets, pillows, etc. There is a large laundry room, with ironing board/iron and an extra toilet/bathroom sink. They furnished laundry detergent and stain remover. The large bathroom, with shower/tub had plenty of empty drawers to use and I took a bath every night. They furnished all the necessities in the bathroom: toilet paper, bar soap, and hand soap. The kitchen was wonderful. High end cabinetry, silverware and dishes as well as coffee pot, tea pot, toaster, etc. You can easily cook in this unit, which I did many times. When you sit at the table you have a view outside the window of the mountains. You wake up in the morning to these beautiful views out every single window in the place. You see horses in their pastures out every window. You can easily have a wonderful walk right outside the renal. If you stay on one side of the road you are walking on a rural road going by other homes that have horses. If you cross over the through road you are walking around a more suburban collection of homes. The town of Bozeman has lots of restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, and shopping. Very modern looking town. Highly recommend the Storm Castle Cafe next to the college for breakfast.....they also serve lunch. Recommend the Custard French Toast. A bakery we love and highly recommend is the Wild Crumb Bakery.....get there early or see if you can order by phone as the place is very popular. Lastly if you have never experienced Montana's "Big Sky" you are in for something that you will remember for a lifetime.......simply surreal and breathtaking. I am so glad we picked Bozeman to visit and especially lucky we picked this home for our first long VRBO. The owner, Bob, was welcoming, generous and was a man of great integrity. Enjoy!!!"
