  • Second time here--great place to stay!

"We made our second trip to Big Sky. I'd never heard of VRBO and just landed on this property when searching for reasonably priced places to stay in Big Sky on the mountain for my husband and me and our adult daughter. This Stillwater condo had by far the best price and it's a short walk to mountain village and ski lifts. The upstairs/downstairs arrangement worked perfectly for us. I loved being able to press a button and have a fire in the fireplace; it has a nice view also. It was almost more space than we needed for 3 of us and would comfortably accommodate more people. It's very clean, nicely decorated and well maintained. It saved us money being able to cook breakfasts and some dinners, unlike the only other accommodations (at lodges) I found in my price range which would have necessitated us eating out for all meals. I've stayed in a lot of condos at a lot of ski areas and this one rates at the top. It was very easy to rent and the owners are great and are available for questions and help. I highly recommend it. Wendy p.s. Would be a lot of fun to stay there and visit the area in the summer, too."

  • Excellent!

"We came from three states (Oregon, Colorado and Idaho) to meet at Red Cedar and had an amazing time! It was the perfect meeting place for our family of 14 with six of them being under the age of 13! We really enjoyed that everyone had their own space, including the kids and the large bathrooms were so nice to get ready in! I also liked that the cabin, for the most part, is handicap accessible. Having large open doorways and a seat in the downstairs shower made a big difference for my father with muscular dystrophy. I would love to see a ramp or another way, other than the steep stairs, to gain access into the home but we are certainly not complaining by any means. The kitchen was perfect for making large meals and prepping for the days activities. The table is certainly a great place to sit and play games or just eat together as a family. We loved sitting on the back porch enjoying the sunsets, watching the kids ride bikes up and down the road and taking walks during the evening. Sue (property management) was great and made up feel welcome! We also loved the close proximity to town and had so much fun at the Arial Adventure (highly recommend!) We will for sure be back to Red Cedar! The only changes I would make (and again, we loved it so just a little constructive criticism): the ramp, the beds are a bit soft and it would be nice to have a downstairs sitting area other than the two oversized chairs and the kitchen table. A couple of couches downstairs, granted that space is limited, would be nice to have a sitting area to hang out at."

  • great family vacation spot

"We had a great 2 week stay. First week we had 6 grandkids and their parents. The kids absolutely loved it here. They started out the week climbing the mountain/hill behind the house exploring the new surroundings. As the week went on the trampoline was the #1 amenity followed closely by the hot tub. After a day exploring Yellowstone the kids couldn't wait to get back to the house. The grownups enjoyed the outside decks and the views of Emigrant Mt. The house comfortably handled 14 people. Kitchen was very nice and the big table was the center of activity for meals and card games later in the evening. The family's of mule deer that were there every day added a great touch as well."

  • Amazing Property!

"If you're looking for an amazing rental in the Big Sky area, this is it. Everything is exactly as described in the listing. And while most people come to this area in the winter, our stay here in early summer was amazing. We used the condo as our home base as we toured Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park. It's about a 45 minute drive into West Yellowstone, but it's gorgeous. This is a ski area, of course, and we did find it to be very quiet in the summer. In fact, the condo complex was nearly empty, which was quite fine with us. We enjoyed the hot tub and the view. It was wonderful to have access to the garage, and the elevator and laundry are right outside the condo's door. The owner is easy to communicate with and left lots of instructions throughout the condo, which I appreciate. You really can't ask for more. Book this property. You'll be glad you did."
