  • Spectacular Home and Location

"We cannot say enough good things about this gorgeous home and perfect lakefront location. Our family agreed it was tied for best vacation we have ever taken and we've experienced some pretty special vacations over the years. It was everything we had hoped for. The home is truly lovely and well cared for. The flat wide waterfront location on a quiet bay with amazing views makes it a very special spot on the lake. The home sits in a private neighborhood with only a few other lovely homes surrounding and is protected by a 30 acre private park to the back. The day we arrived we were greeted by 8 deer who lived in the rolling meadow lawn of the neighbors yard and we enjoyed watching them during our entire stay. The local boat company delivered kayaks, paddleboards, and a boat to our dock and picked them up when we were finished. We never had to go anywhere except to the grocery. The owners are lovely and were over the top in providing history about the home, the area, and places to go. They were easy to work with and very prompt in communication and returning our deposit. The ambiance of this place makes the perfect Montana vacation. We cannot wait to visit this wonderful place again!"

  • Perfect for Glacier hiking trip!

"Staying here felt like staying in a very generous friend's rustic mountain condo. The beds are nicer than any Ritz Carlton's, the kitchen is perfect, and there's a nice fireplace with deep cushion couches. It's about a 45 minute drive to West Glacier so a perfect spot for a 5-day summer hiking trip. We're moderate hikers (5-10 miles) and hiked Grinnel Lake, Avalanche Lake, Highline and Piegan Pass. Only downsides are there's no view, hot tub is so-so, master bedroom not private and garage is a bit tight. Don't miss the Alpine Village Market - amazing wine selection, cheese, produce, yum."

  • Yellowstone at its best

"We stayed at the River Lodge in June 2016 during a trip to visit Yellowstone. My husband and I, and our three adult children, were joined by another couple with their daughter – for 8 adults, the lodge was very comfortable. It has a rustic luxury feel with amazing painting drawing and sculptures. All the lighting is custom made! Large windows face the Yellowstone river as well as the deck and garden. We enjoyed the kitchen and the Lacange range with nice pots for cooking elaborated meals. We loved the “glamping”. John and Shirl are very helpful hosts. We follow their hiking suggestions even up to Grand Teton National Park! In short, the property is amazing and a perfect location to explore Yellowstone National Park."
