  • Beautiful Place, Excellent Location

"My wife and I stayed here while on a ski vacation and it was absolutely perfect. The space itself is wonderful - large rooms, a huge bathroom, a fireplace and awesome views. One of the best features that we used on a daily basis after skiing or snowshoeing was the steam shower - what a great way to relax! The location is fantastic, a cute local ski area called Blacktail is at your doorstep, and Big Mountain is just down the road. It's also close to Kalispell and Glacier National Park, so we were easily able to explore the town and park as well. The views of Flathead Lake are gorgeous and we saw eagles fly by from our living room on more than one occasion There's also access to a dock and lake swimming is at your front door; we can't wait to return for some summer fun! We definitely recommend staying here."

  • The perfect getaway cabin! Loved every minute.

"My husband and I and our two children (infant and toddler) came out to this cabin from Fort Benton as a Thanksgiving/birthday getaway (my 40th fell on Thanksgiving Day!) and we couldn't have picked a better place. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable, with great cabin decor and lots of interesting books. My husband and I took advantage of the hot tub every night, and afternoons while the kids were napping, and it was sparkling clean and the water was always hot. The hot tub has a really heavy, insulated cover, which is great (especially if you are worried about a climbing toddler), although I probably couldn't open it myself, so keep that in mind if you are traveling alone. My husband could open it himself, though. The bedroom had a comfortable bed, and there was also a memory foam mattress pad for the pullout sofa bed which made it the most comfortable pullout bed ever. All the bed linens, towels and pillows were high quality. There was a pillow for any kind of sleeper! We loved having the fenced yard - perfect for a toddler and our dog, and the bar next door was also great. We walked over for the free Thanksgiving dinner, which was so generous, and we also got takeout a couple times and the food was delicious. The bar itself seemed like a great place to hang out, and if we had been traveling without the kids, we would have stayed for a few. It seemed that every time we walked in the jukebox was blasting Lynyrd Skynyrd, which we loved, but you can't hear the jukebox from the cabin, in case you are worried about noise. The area is my favorite - there is so much to do, from exploring Lion Lake and Hungry Horse Reservoir, to the distillery a mile down the road, to the award winning dog park in Whitefish, and all the breweries in the area. We had fun getting lunch at the breweries and then bringing a growler back for our afternoons hanging out in the hot tub. I can't say enough good things about this place. Greg was really nice, and basically just left us alone, which we also appreciated. We had a little bit of trouble with the thermostat (it needed an occasional jiggle to kick in), and we replaced some batteries in the remotes, but I'm sure Greg would have handled all that if we had asked. None of it was a big deal. All in all, I would recommend this cabin to anyone. Thanks Greg! We really appreciated the cabin and all the little finishing touches."

  • Ideally located, Well-Equipped Slice of Heaven in the Heart of Big Sky

"My family and I recently stayed at Little Big Sky from Christmas to New Year's. The cabin is in the perfect location, close to everything but also secluded. The house has a wonderful layout for a family or big group. The three full baths are wonderful and help add to the spacious nature. We made fires and utilized the large hot tub daily, and on the last morning we spotted some elk on the property. When it came time to cook, the house has everything you need. We even cooked bison and steaks on the outdoor grill. We enjoyed many of the local restaurants (Buck's T-4, Gallatin Riverhouse Grill and Rainbow Ranch Lodge were our favorites). Skiing was just a 15 minute drive through the scenic mountains. Two people in our group went winter fly fishing nearby and caught lots of fish. Paul was a delight to communicate with. He always responded quickly to all emails and with a most pleasant demeanor. Can't recommend Little Big Sky enough!"
