  • Cute cabin

"We enjoyed our stay in cabin #3. Cute, quiet and clean. Dinners on the porch with grilled chicken one night and steak the second night, while watching the deer were highlights of our stay. We were happy to return to the peacefulness of the cabin after spending the day out exploring."

  • Transcendent Location, Impeccable Craftsmanship

"We checked out of the Two Medicine studio this morning and are already planning a return trip. Glacier NP is famous for its stunning alpine scenery, and these accommodations are worthy of the setting. Lone Elk Lodge is beautifully situated in a meadow with mountain views; our studio had a little deck facing toward the mountains and away from the road, with no highway noise. The building itself is immaculate: well designed and furnished, impeccably maintained (we didn't see a cobweb or a speck of dirt), and thoughtfully appointed. Two Medicine studio is quite roomy and had everything we needed, including a well-stocked full kitchen, a comfy bed (with great nightstands and reading lights--important to me!) and a little electric fireplace. As hosts, Leslie and Carl struck just the right balance. Attentive but not intrusive, they offered tips on hikes and restaurants and even left a plate of homemade scones to welcome us. Lone Elk Lodge was the perfect home base for an exceptional adventure."

  • Lovely hosts, lovely house!

"This beautifully restored bungalow is one block from a darling city park and two blocks from the courthouse. You can walk to all the city restaurant and shopping areas and through quaint neighborhoods to get a feel for and enjoy the great vibe in Kalispell. It's central location in the valley makes it perfect for exploring Glacier National Park, Whitefish, Bigfork, Columbia Falls, Flathead Lake, Canada, the National Bison Range, et al. While I cooked most of my meals at the house, I did enjoy Hops Restaurant, Syke's Diner, and The Forge - yummy eats, reasonable prices! All communication with the owners was prompt, pleasant, and efficient. The home had everything I needed for a 3-week stay - I recommend it!"

  • Rare Five Star Gem In Gardiner

"This is the first five star rating I have ever provided to any property or establishment of any kind. Gardiner is a very small town whose claim to fame is its proximity to the northern entrance to Yellowstone. Did not see anything there that would come close to matching the privacy, beauty and full complement of amenities offered at Buffalo Bluff. The fifth star is earned by the attentiveness of the owner, Belinda. She clearly does not want to be intrusive, but does want to be certain that the expectations of her guests are met or exceeded. Terrific!"
