"Rebecca was a great communicator from the moment we made our reservation. She answered all of my questions promptly and courteously and sent us very precise directions to her house.
We were impressed from the moment we walked in. The kitchen/living room/dining room is very open with huge windows overlooking the deck and the lake. The kitchen was stocked with all of the basics - plates, cups, silverware, pots and pans, etc. There were plenty of paper towels, garbage bags, and all of the basic spices and seasonings. We would have loved some wine glasses but I can understand the liability of guests and glass together. There was plenty of parking for 4 SUVs.
The king bed in the master bedroom was SO COMFORTABLE! We brought our own pillows but didn't need to use them. The bathrooms were stocked with soap, toiletries, and beach towels! Packing towels for a crew takes up a lot of space and it was awesome to have them supplied. My kids were thrilled to find a bucket of toys in the closet and a 1,3, and 5 year old were entertained by them all weekend.
The other rooms were comfy as well. There is room in the basement for a blow up mattress if you need extra space. We were a group of 9 adults and 4 children never felt crowded.
The deck is large and the fire pit provided great ambiance for some night time star gazing. Coming from Denver we were happy to see so many.
The walk to the beach took about 5 minutes, my kids were able to navigate it easily. Although it is technically public it felt very private. It's rocky so not as nice as the north beaches but sandy once you wade in so it was great for swimming and chair lounging.
We saw a few neighbors who both waved at us and were very friendly.
Our only regret is that we only stayed 2 nights. Next time we will stay for 3!"
