  • Gorgeous!! Home away from Home!!

"The property felt like we were in Italy! Loved it!! Everyone was so friendly! Mike was a great host. It was a short notice trip and was able to get us the apartment right away. The place was very clean. Everything we needed was provided for us in the apartment. The swimming pool was awesome. I enjoyed breakfast on the balcony with the beautiful mountain view. Enjoyed delicious restaurants and the yummy homemade Gelato at the nearby ice cream store. Everything was walking distance. The lake was so peaceful, just bummed that we did not have enough time to go paddle boating or get on the boats, as you can rent them out. We highly recommend this place.. another side to the busy Las Vegas strip-which was only 20 mins away! Thanks again Mike! for accommodating us!!"

  • lovely, quiet. secure and sunny apartment

"We stayed in the apartment for 5 nights and we could have stayed longer. we felt safe and secure as it felt like a hotel even though it wasn't. My son took advantage of the pool which is just a few steps away both in the evening and daytime. We found the apartment lovely and clean. The only downside I would say would be that i found it difficult preparing and cooking a proper full meal. I cooked one meal and the rest of the time it was just quick meals as it was far easier. It wouldnt stop me from renting this apartment in the future though. My son slept in the lounge on the pull out bed, which was comfortable. we didnt put it away during the day as there was plenty of chairs. the best bit was the balcony, its in direct sun the whole time and you can sunbathe to your hearts content, the locals though we were a bit mad, but us brits dont often see the sun. lovely."

  • weekend stay

"We enjoyed our stay. Gave the family more time to visit rather than separate hotel rooms. Had a little delay on getting the parking pass but did receive night of arrival. Room had coffee filters but not coffee so we be left some for the next guest. Thanks"

  • Wow! I want to move here!

"This condo was perfect for us! The view could NOT be beat! We ate breakfast and lunch almost everyday on the balcony, overlooking the AMAZING view of the lake, pool, and mountains. The condo was clean and very well stocked. We especially appreciated the generous fruit bowl. In fact, it was so well stocked, that I would suggest to future renters to first go to the condo to do a quick inventory, before heading out to stock up on groceries and necessities. For instance, we bought non-stick spray, but found there were already 3 of them there! We enjoyed the convenience of the store in the village for quick buys we forgot at the grocery store. The owner was great to work with and quickly got back to us regarding any questions. We loved how close we were to Lake Mead, which we did not even know ahead of time. A word of caution to anyone though - it costs $20 to enter Lake Mead, even if you are just driving through. The pass was good for a week though, so we are glad we bought the pass, as the views were amazing and a nice way to drive to the Valley of Fire. I just have a couple of concerns, but none of which have anything to do with the owner or condo. One is that the village was pretty sparse. We were disappointed that so many businesses had closed down. We were glad there was a place to rent kayaks and pedal boats though, as this was a wonderful way to explore and get a bit of exercise. The other concern is when we arrived we were told at the front desk that the pool was closed that day, for tree trimming. After a long day of traveling, lounging by the pool had been our plan. Later we found out that the nearby Luna side was also a part of this resort, so we could have asked if we could have used their pool. I don't know if we could have, but it was not suggested to us by the staff at the desk. Finally, my husband was a bit disappointed with the length of drive to the strip. As this was not the primary purpose of our trip, it was not a big problem. However, for those wanting to go to the strip each day, this place might be a bit far. I, on the other hand, appreciated being away from all the "craziness" that goes along with staying on the strip, so it just depends on your preference. All in all, we would not hesitate to rent here again!"
