  • Beautiful view , comfortable home, plenty of room

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was clearly a well loved vacation home, with a touch of Scandinavia. (the same china, (poppies on blue) that we have at home!) All the amenities you could want including sleds for the snow (and shovels)! It was very clean and we were comfy, warm and occupied when it was too snowy to leave! The view once the weather cleared was stunning with the snow covered pine trees framing the lake. The hot tub worked well and the bathrobes were a nice touch. The Lone Eagle grille in Incline Village is a must; lunch is more affordable! Diamond Peak skiing was less than a mile away, Incline Village was 3 miles. Funny how we could get around with snow chains in a blizzard in Tahoe and then couldn't get back to Birmingham due to 1 inch of ice on the roads!"

  • A Place for Memory-Making!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing time at the property! As other guest's mentioned, there are quite a few stairs to access the home (50 I think!), but they are a small price to pay for the amazing home when you get inside. We loved the flip-flopped lay-out with bedrooms downstairs and living space upstairs--optimal views! Our favorite part of all was the hike just behind the property. We hiked all the way to the ski chalet! It was amazing and a highlight of the trip for all of us (2 parents and 3 older children). We also loved the proximity to Incline Village for trips to the store. The fireplace was amazing, and we made a Thanksgiving feast to remember. We were disappointed to have to leave a day early due to an incoming winter storm, but we'll be back. We had issues heating the home the first night, but the property manager was very responsive and had a repairperson out first thing in the morning. It was much better after that and even our cold night/morning was so wonderful. Definitely a place to return to...unforgettable coupled with amazing price!!"
