  • Birthday Celebration

"We celebrated my 65th birthday here with friends and family. We had 10 adults & 1 infant and didn't even use parts of the house. There are 2 additional living/media rooms downstairs. It was difficult to find a 5 bedroom house with 5 bathrooms that accommodated all adults. (no twin beds, all king & queen) The deck off main living space wrapped around with beautiful views into the Fall colored trees. The kitchen is better equipped than my own. We all loved the house & enjoyed evenings with wine in the hot tub and went on some beautiful hikes nearby. Only regret was that we didn't stay longer."

  • Wonderful Family Getaway!

"This home was everything we could have asked for. The house was beautifully updated and well stocked with anything and everything you could ever need for a vacation home. The owners have thought of everything to make this a super comfortable and welcoming home. It felt very homey, spacious, clean, and comfortable - not like your typical rental. The location was perfect, close to the lake, but far enough away that we felt a sense of privacy and peacefulness - and there was even a small view of the lake from the front deck! Their kitchen was one of the best ones we have encountered - granite counter top, stainless steel appliances, a wide variety of cooking utensil, and high quality dishes . We especially loved having the deck located at the back of the house, with an outside dining set, BBQ, and very quiet natural ambiance. It was perfect for evening get togethers after a long day of exploration with friends. Some other things that stood out to us was how well furnished the house was; the fireplaces, the great selection of DVDs and puzzles/games, and having the essentials upon arrival already in the house like tissues, paper towels, coffee filters, etc. Also, we were very happy to have in-home WiFi access to check our emails and look up delicious recipes. This house was perfect for hiking enthusiasts like us looking for a great trail and gorgeous view! We were very close to many hiking trails: some trailheads happened to be in the neighborhood and others (Mt. Rose Summit trailheads) were a short drive up Mt. Rose Hwy. In addition, it was just an easy two mile drive to downtown Incline which made for easy access to the beautiful beaches, dining, biking trails, etc. All in all, the home itself was decorated beautifully, the bedrooms were very spacious, the bathrooms look newly done, the kitchen was well-furnished, and the location was perfect - the photos DO NOT do the cabin justice. Dealing with the owners was a pleasure and they answered all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an wonderful stress-free holiday vacation."

  • Comfort and Fun for the Whole Family

"My daughter and I took my sister and her kids on their first snow adventure. I have used airbnb and vrbo before and have stayed in some nice places but this codo has been my favorite! It's in a great location with plenty of parking. The sleeping arrangements are comfortable and plentiful The kitchen had everything you could want. Having a sharp knife and a good selection of pans was a welcome surprise! My family is already asking when we are coming back :) Owner was great too - did what they said and were easy to work with. I love this place!!"

  • Perfect Place in Perfect Location

"Rented this lovely, spacious, and warm house over the Christmas Holiday and it was everything we could've asked for and more. Very reasonable price compared to other homes, tons of room to entertain and spread out with your group, while still feeling homey and comforting. Flume trail and Diamond Peak are both within 2 miles of the property, so easy to get to outdoor activities, and the beach is not much further than that."
