  • Fabulous cabin in Tahoe!

"We were so happy from the beginning to end of our stay. The storage right at the front door was a bonus. Better yet he parking was right in front of the home. Even the neighbors checked in on us. This is the best location ever. Our experience couldn't of been any better."

  • Wonderful location and great for families with small children

"We stayed with another family at this home during our "ski week". There were 4 boys (ages 20mos to 5 years old) with us and this property was perfect and safe for them and an enjoyable living space for the adults too! The small deck served as an enclosed are for the boys to play in the snow and the nature of where the property is located had very minimal car traffic, so our families could take walks and play with little outside influence. The master bedroom upstairs is very roomy and the closet is so large, that we used it as an bedroom for our boys (one in a pack/play and the other in a small cot) and they loved it! The downstairs bedrooms were wonderful for the two older boys, as there are 2 twin beds and a trundle located next door to a larger bedroom suited with a Kind bed for the parents. My only critique would be difficulty in reaching the mgmt company. We had an issue with the trash from the previous renters being left in the garage, which made it partially unusable for us. Four calls and 2 days later I was finally able to get a hold of the company (versus the answering service) and when that was done, they were incredibly responsive to rectifying the issue. Lovely home and will certainly keep in mind for future trips!"

  • Great views

"It's a beautiful home with spectacular views. We were surprised though by the way to access it. I have wo bad knees so it was very challenging to negotiate the steps and the path upto the house. I wish that was disclosed in the information on homeaway. Other than that every thing was great."

  • Hit the jackpot, with Mountain Shadows!

"This rental was perfect for our family of six adults. It was very clean and spacious. It is very charming, and decorated beautifully. The location was great because it was away from the crowds but a close drive to the beaches and hiking trails. We cooked meals in the condo and were surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked. The grill was great for a cookout on the deck. We only needed to bring the food. We did not use the pass to the private beaches, as it was $12. Admission, Per person, even with the pass. We went to King's Beach and rented kayaks and jet skis. Get there early, for a parking spot, though. Not many parking spots are in the lot. The Incline Village casinos are old fashioned and not crowded, but they were a short drive, and we felt like we had walked into the 1960s. We enjoyed staying in Incline Village rather than South Lake Tahoe because we were more interested in nature than in casinos and crowds. We have hundreds of incredible photos of the area. The drive in from Reno was breathtakingly gorgeous and set the tone for a great stay in beautiful Lake Tahoe. We would love to rent this place again, and would definitely recommend it. Worth all five stars. Belinda refunded the security deposit promptly after our stay, and she was quick to answer our questions before our arrival."
