"We stayed in this cabin in early June, before the busy summer season and enjoyed it very much. Though it's not on the beach, it's still a great location within walking distance to beach. Best side of the lake, in my opinion (perhaps it's the terrific sunset views, that make it so). It's out of the usual tourist frenzy, but not far from services, necessities, activities and casinos. The house itself is quite comfortable, though as with many rental homes, be prepared to bring along shampoo, soap (bath and dish) and favorite spices. Bring briquets if you want to barbecue. There isn't much parking and you can't park at the beach access, so if you have lots of gear (baby stuff, umbrellas, coolers, water toys, etc.), it might be handy to have a wagon, cart or stroller with wheels for sand to carry the gear to the beach. There's a nice ramp for foot access at Beach Street. Otherwise, do a drop off and park the car back at the house. Great to have use of the garage, as well!
All in all, this is a terrific place to stay and I hope to visit again!"
