  • A few problems but overall a good experience

"Overall, the property has many good qualities and everybody had a good time. There are many walking trails near the house which many of us enjoyed. It is literally at the end of a major ski run and the house and location is perfect for ski season. Nevertheless, the location is attractive in the middle of summer also - convenient to the lake and several smaller beaches and Stateline provides some urban opportunities for a change of pace. The property was spacious, with an exceptional sitting room with a wonderful view and a dinning room area that is very well designed for large groups to share meals. Several people also enjoyed using the pool table and the adjacent large living/family room came in very handy and provided a bit of an escape at times. The place was very well stocked - the owner and manager took obvious pride in making efforts to ensure guests enjoyed their experiences. The place was clean and well maintained. We stayed a week in late July which was a bit hotter than normal. With that context, we found the air circulation poor as it was hot almost all the time. Even the cooler evenings with windows opened only helped a bit, and many windows did not open. This was also an issue for the cottage unit above the garage which we also rented. As this unit faced the street, with the windows open, street noise was also an issue throughout the night. We also had ongoing problems with the internet, which was a particular problem for those who had to conduct business during the stay. It was not clear to us whether we just had a bad week on that front; or if adequate internet reception was an inherent problem in the area. At the end of the week, the internet service provider came out to have a look and the owner said he would upgrade his service which may sort out the problem for future renters. Summarizing, despite a few problems and challenges, we had a good time."

  • Highly Recommend - Tower 1

"Everything was just as expected...we will definitely be booking again next year! Tower 1 is definitely the best tower to be in....Starbucks, adult pool, less that 5 minute walk on moving walkway to the MGM pools (5 pools - something for everyone) and not far from the Strip. The room and it's amenities are in excellent condition. Great view of the strip. Allen was very easy to deal with and always responded very quickly. Looking forward to going back already!"

  • Great Property

"Overall it was a great place to rest our heads at night. We were up there last weekend, its 15 minutes up the hill on the Nevada state, which wasn't a problem. If you are looking for a nice clean place to stay that takes dogs this is it and you can't beat the price. All we could think of was WOW how great is this place in the Winter since the chair lift is right across the street. Keep in mind that this is a condo it had 2 beds and 2 bath, I would say it can host 4 adults comfy or a family of 4. It's Tahoe, most places don't have AC which we don't mind, having the fan totally helped, though! If we came up again we would definitely look at booking this again. If you are looking for a clean, nice place to rent in South Lake and don't mind a 15 min drive this is the place for you!"

  • Wonderful stay as always!

"We always enjoy our stay at this cabin! This is our 5th time renting this cabin for ski trips, and we always look forward to returning. It's very clean and well furnished for a comfortable stay for our family of 5. We cook dinner most nights, and the kitchen is well equipped with cookware, bakeware, spices, etc. It's a quick 2-minute drive to Diamond Peak ski resort where we have season ski passes, and it's just a few more minutes away for groceries, restaurants, and the lake. Our favorite places nearby to eat are Mofo's Pizza, Azzara's for a special occasion, or Lone Eagle Grill on the lake for drinks in their cozy lounge with huge fireplace and lakefront view. The Tyrolia neighborhood is quiet and wonderful for taking a walk to see all the different Swiss chalet style homes. The owners are very accommodating and easy to work with. In this last trip, my son forgot his phone charger in the cabin, and they kindly offered to send it back to us in the mail. Thanks for opening up your cozy home for us all to enjoy! We'll certainly be back."
