  • Beautiful Place to Stay

"We stayed for four days in August with our yellow lab. She's ten and we weren't sure if she would handle the hike to the lake with her legs not being the best anymore, but she was like a puppy every morning sprinting down the hill and into the water. She had a great time. We enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen, going to the beach, and hanging out with family. We took a day trip to Sugarbush Farm in Vermont, tasted great cheese and maple syrup, and walked the maple hike and saw the farm animals. It was about forty minutes away, and was a trip we recommend, if only to stock up on some great cheese and syrup. We felt at home here, as the house has all the comforts of being home, from comfortable beds and couches, to wine glasses ready to go. We enjoyed visiting the beautiful Eastman area."

  • Amazing time on Chalk Pond

"If you're looking for a beautiful house, a great view and a quiet place to relax, than this is the place for you. The house is gorgeous. We were a party of 3 and we had more room than we knew what to do with. There is a water view from just about every room. Everything we needed was provided (sheets, towels, all the little comforts of home) First time I rented someone else's home and felt at home myself. Homeowner is super friendly too. Looking forward to staying here again."

  • Owner and location were great!

"The owner was very responsive and available when needed! Great location! The home has a rustic camp like feel that we weren't expecting but the space satisfied our annual family NYE weekend getaway. Linens and towels were provided which was nice not to have to pack those bulky items. Yard was nice for the kids to play in the snow!"

  • Adorable carriage house !

"We stayed in this precious carriage house for a weekend in early February. It was perfect for our family of four. The house was clean, all of the furnishings were new and fresh, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Having a washer and dryer was helpful too! The house was a short drive to skiing, and we loved being in the heart of Chester. There is a market within walking distance with great food, wine and beer selections. Downtown is a short drive with a number of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Our kids loved sledding on the hill by the town pool, as well as in the backyard! I highly recommend the carriage house to anyone wanting to get away from it all in the charming town of Chester!"
