"We stayed for 5 was while relocating to the NH area. The home was well stocked and very comfortable. Easy walk to state beach, use of kayaks great and quick drive to MTN with many summer activities. Aimee was always available to answer questions and very easy to work with.I also found her very supportive during a stressful time."

  • Best Lake House Ever!

"We had so much fun at Hemlock Harbor lake house...there is so much to do!! Fishing off the dock, kayaking and canoeing, and swimming in the crystal clear waters of Lake Sunapee. Plus, it's just a short walk to town for some fun! Lucy and Greg were incredible hosts, making sure we were comfortable, showing us the ropes, and letting us play with all the toys! Hopefully, we didn’t disturb them (or the neighbors) too much with our very frequent (and sometimes late night) player piano playing! That was so much fun (and what a workout!) Everything was just awesome, we have rented a lot of places, and these guys do it top notch (there’s nothing worse than checking in only to find out that toilet paper and dish soap aren’t supplied!! They go way, way, way, above and beyond that!) We truly had a great time, if we do Sunapee again, they our first call!"

  • Picturesque, home from home farm house that made our family Christmas fabulous.

"We found the communication with the owner was wonderful, making the booking and organising of our holiday extremely easy. Ailsa's openness and flexibility answering multiple messages on the board made our booking from England a breeze. The location is picturesque, and the house had all of the amenities needed to make you feel at home- washing machine , dryer dishwasher etc. Sledges and skates were accessible if you wished to indulge in the snow and winter weather. The location gave enough distance to be in the country, but with continued access to the rest of the world via wifi, & easy access to Hanover, Lebanon and Woodstock where we went skiing for the day. The house was perfect for the five of us - 2 adults and three children, aged 8-2, and easily accommodated everyone who came to visit us - we were able to host our extended family and friends and still had plenty of space to relax and not feel we were in each other's pockets. We had a fantastic Christmas celebration and meal for 12 and it was fabulous to be in the farmhouse. With young children we felt entirely at ease in our surroundings and didn't feel that we were in someone's else's home. This was a true blessing as it made our Christmas a very much needed relaxed event . The pictures within the advert don't give a true reflection of how large the house is and how much space is available in a four bedroom house, with a large lounge with high ceilings, a snug , den area and dining room . We experienced a proper New England Snow Storm and was very impressed how quickly the drive was ploughed and maintained during this particular storm. I would highly recommend this property for a holiday/vacation , whether you're a large family or a couple who wished to stay cosy with the various wood stoves. It was lovely to unwind, unplug and relax and feel at home in such a lovely and eclectic house. We stayed for two weeks and could have easily stayed longer. Thank you for a fabulous and wonderful holiday x"

  • Quiet Winter Retreat

"We loved this little cottage on the pond. We went for a quick 5 day getaway in November with no real plans of doing anything. We just wanted to get away to a small town and relax. The house is very nicely furnished and we had zero issues during our stay. A few things to note for future renters, while there are a few food establishments near by we typically had to drive about 30 mins up or down the road to get a bigger selection of restaurants. If you are a very tall person the house might feel small for you as the ceiling are a little low. I'm 5'9 and could easily reach up and touch them so anyone who is 6'5 or so might have to duck at door ways. We really enjoyed the location and the quietness of the area. we are already planning to come back and stay here during a time there will be snow on the ground. We are hoping the pond will be frozen also during our next trip as it is absolutely beautiful and crystal clear. Our security deposit was promptly refunded and we never had any communication issues with the owner. I would easily recommend this property for others to rent."
