  • Fantastic little getaway

"The cottage is very clean and well equipped. It is simply but tastefully furnished. We went the day after Labor Day so the activity on the water was minimal. We were able to enjoy canoeing on an empty tranquil pond. The owners provided games and puzzles as well as the canoe and life jackets. They were very helpful and easy to contact. We had a great time. We are already talking about renting it again next year. The cottage is also convenient to Quechee Gorge and the VINS Nature Center, The Shaker Museum and numerous antique stores. There are plenty of good restaurants within a reasonable drive. The cottage is set up for year round use with central heat and a gas fireplace if your more into winter sports. Skiing is available nearby. The cottage is easy to find and close to major highways."

  • Luxurious renovated farmhouse with gorgeous views!

"We stayed for a week with three children aged 10, 13 &15 and a dog and we all had a wonderful time. The house has been renovated with enormous care and attention to detail. The house is very stylish and extremely comfortable, down to the lovely sheets on the beds. There is a very well stocked games closet should the weather stop you from going outside but if the sun is shining, the place to be is down by the river (just a couple of minutes away). It is so beautiful and the perfect place for a tranquil afternoon. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need. It is also gorgeous. I felt sad to return to my sad old kitchen at the end of the vacation!!! The screened porch is ideal for evenings and the fire pit meant we could enjoy s'mores while star gazing. Truly the perfect house!"

  • Weekend at Craftsmen Craft Fair, Mt Sunapee Resort, New Hampshire

"Accommodations were as stated on VRBO website and more. All the comforts of home comfortable bed, loads of room, nicely decorated, very quiet and near points of interest. Cindi and Brett were in the main home available and friendly. We would definitely stay again and refer our friends to stay at this lovely setting"

  • Perfect Ski House

"I have rented this house for ski season for the past five years, with two other families. We all have kids and we ski at Mount Sunapee. We pretty much spent every weekend and vacation week up at the lake, and we have unbelievably good memories of the entire time. It's convenient (11 minutes) to the mountain, and really an ideal ski house-- complete with a mud room for boots, etc. The house is very well finished-- lots of great woodwork, and solidly constructed. Heating costs were quite reasonable. The house is great for kids, with a large basement with TV, TT and fooseball. The kitchen is fabulous-- each family took turns cooking, and we pretty much ate in every Saturday night and then sat in front of the fire. The view of the lake is amazing, and on occasion I've even cross country skied across the lake to the mountain... and when there's no snow, you can ice-skate off the dock! It's large enough for two or three families to all be there together. The owner (Peter) is fantastic, and was always very responsive for any issues that arose. In short, for a large ski house in Sunapee, you cannot do better. This place is amazing."
