  • We keep returning to this hidden gem!

"Our family summered on Kezar Lake for years and years--it is a beautiful, unspoiled, peaceful place--and this wonderful home is the perfect base for exploring and enjoying all that the area has to offer. The owners have lovingly restored and furnished this sweet cottage with attention to detail--Arts and Crafts antiques blended with up-to-date appliances and conveniences. The kitchen is fantastic, there are gathering spaces as well as getaway spaces...the newly finished attic playroom is perfect for kids of all ages. The house is wonderfully cool when the weather outside is hot. Kezar Lake is steps away, you can hear the loons at night, and not much else...the village of North Sutton has hardly changed at all since our childhood (a LONG time ago!) The owners are attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed, so all we had to do was move in and relax. Highly recommend this lovely place!"

  • Great winter spot for the family

"We rented the house for 3 days during February break and had the best time! We have three young kids and there was plenty of room for all. The house is on a pretty little lake, and we are planning to come back in the summer for some more days. We made a fun sledding hill next to the cottage, ending on the lake. The kids had a blast and we did not have to go anywhere. Dog friendly as well, and the street does not get too much traffic. It is a bit close to the highway and you can hear the trucks in the still of the night, but this was not really an issue for any of us. One part of the house is heated by a large wood stove, and it took some time figuring out the correct burn settings to keep the temp below 80, but it is well set up and more than adequate to heat the area. Great spot and an easy rental experience, close to Sunapee, and I'm sure it is awesome in the summer as well. Will definitely go back."

  • Best Lake House Ever!

"We had so much fun at Hemlock Harbor lake house...there is so much to do!! Fishing off the dock, kayaking and canoeing, and swimming in the crystal clear waters of Lake Sunapee. Plus, it's just a short walk to town for some fun! Lucy and Greg were incredible hosts, making sure we were comfortable, showing us the ropes, and letting us play with all the toys! Hopefully, we didn’t disturb them (or the neighbors) too much with our very frequent (and sometimes late night) player piano playing! That was so much fun (and what a workout!) Everything was just awesome, we have rented a lot of places, and these guys do it top notch (there’s nothing worse than checking in only to find out that toilet paper and dish soap aren’t supplied!! They go way, way, way, above and beyond that!) We truly had a great time, if we do Sunapee again, they our first call!"

  • Beautiful and peaceful!

"Wonderful peaceful setting on quiet Chalk Pond. Private, very clean and neat and well appointed house. Perfect place to get away from it all, and access close by to Sunapee attractions. Though house and setting is so nice don't need to leave! House has digital TV access, along with Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, etc, as well as a surround sound system. Though traversing walkway from parking area down to the house, and access down to the water could be challenging for older folks. Certainly hope we can come back again next year."
