  • Beautiful house and great host

"This is a great VRBO and we had a wonderful time. The house is right on Lake Pawtuckaway, which is a beautiful, clear, peaceful lake in southern New Hampshire. The house is on a dead-end gravel road, so there is very little traffic. The road is in very good condition - our minivan had no trouble. The house has a large deck across the whole side of the house facing the lake. The yard slopes down to the water, and there is a good-size beach on the lake. The water is shallow and clear with a sandy bottom. Our 2-year old spend hours throwing pebbles into the water, going in after them, and throwing them back in. There is also a small dock where we caught some tiny bass and a small bluegill - there is a bait shop on the main road where you can also rent all kinds of equipment. The house is clean and well maintained. Clearly a much-loved vacation home. Andrea is very friendly and accommodating, and we had no issues at all. Thanks for a great stay, this will be our first choice if we return to the area!"

  • Nice get away

"Cabin was close to a cute lake (2 minute walk maybe) and we used the paddle boat the owner provided to go exploring. Life vests are provided, too, even a child size which was nice for us since we had a 2 year old. They had a nice propane grill for grilling. Overall the property could be cleaned up a bit (broken down play structure and boat in the yard that haven't been used in years) and the interior could be improved in some places, too (couch is run down and broken TV is left in the screened in porch) That said, it was nice to have a screened in porch to hang out on. Overall it was fine for 2 days. Property manager was very responsive and so easy to work with. She even stopped by to check on things and tell us about things to do in the area shortly after we arrived which was a nice plus."

  • Excellent all around!

"The condo was in a great location within walking distance to town. Free on-site parking. Clean and fresh. A really nice place to stay. Well-equipped kitchen, linens, towels. Nice TVs in living room and bedroom. Free wi-fi. Comfy bed with pillow top mattress pad. Highly recommend. Negatives were steep stairs from front-entrance to main level and to bedrooms. Not good for elderly or anyone with arthritis, etc. One side of the shower door did not open--the tap side--so it was difficult to step half-way into the tub to adjust the water temperature for the shower. Would certainly stay there again."

  • Family feel with local charm

"A great area for families. We had fun walking and exploring the town. House was large enough for our big family."
