  • Beautiful quiet luxury vacation spot on the lake!!

"Great high quality home in an excellent setting on a quiet cove connected to the main lake. Lots of space on three levels with plenty of comfortable bedroom options. Screened in porch is a great spot for afternoon relaxation/nap! Home is in excellent condition. We stayed for a week with weather in the upper 80s. Home was very cool and comfortable. Lots to do in the area. Hiking, boating, fishing, easy access to several towns as well as shopping and dining. Owner is a pleasure to work with and works hard to make sure everything is perfect. HIghly recommend this home for a family vacation or extended family vacation as there is plenty of room for everyone. This is our favorite family vacation and we hope to be back next summer!!"

  • Great family atmosphere

"Our heartfelt thanks to Bob & Donna for a great week. Both houses were comfortable & well equipped to handle all 3 generations. Our ages range from 65 to 5 & no one felt left out. From the games in the garage to the trampoline in the water there was plenty to keep us occupied. Family meals cooked both inside & out were enjoyed outside using all 3 picnic tables with the best view anyone could have. The firepit was a huge hit & really well done. We saw more shooting stars in just a few nights time than most people see in a lifetime. Thanks again for being great hosts - right down to the chocolates on our pillows! Hope to see you next year."

  • Perfect for large families!

"Our stay was 8/6-8/13/2016. There were 8 adults and 7 children from 6 to 12 and we were never crowded or under foot. The property is divided into a large (Bear) cabin and a smaller (little bear) cabin, they were decorated adorably . Our family get along and we were all looking forward to this time to visit , relax, and have some adventures. The location is beautiful and the proximity to the water was great. Can't say enough about the clear lake water and mountain views. Best sunsets were down at the beach. The house s were well set up with everything you need , linens( of course) you bring yourself. There is a small store (JoJos) a short trip away so what you forget you can find. 20-25 min away is a large grocery for major supplies. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms spotless and you will get the hang of the water temperature adjustments in the showers. We are grilling folks and thankfully our sons brought theirs because one gas grill just won't feed our 15. We ate all meals outside except breakfast as this is a treat. The smell of the pines is heavenly and 2 very long picnic tables accommodated our crew with comfort. We ended our evening with a gathering around the fire pit. Highly recommend this experience to all. Madelyn Mitton was a dream to talk to and was very accessible for any questions. WiFi on the property worked well. Thanks again Mr and Mrs Mitton."

  • A wonderful lakeside property

"We had the pleasure of staying at Dave and Marie's darling Point of View in Meredith, NH. They were wonderful hosts, making us feel quite at home. Marie even called some restaurants for us to make sure they were open the evening we intended to go. The bed was super comfy with superb views of the Lake, and it was wonderful to turn on the gas fireplace on chilly mornings. Some days we hung around reading and relaxing on our little quiet beach, and some days we hopped in the car and went exploring although frankly, we were always eager to return to the Point of View. There is a very nice grocery store a short drive away so we bought some breakfast and munchie items to enjoy at the cottage while marveling at the gorgeous lake views. We enjoyed perfect autumn weather but it would be fun to be there in a rain or snowstorm too! Thank you Dave and Marie for sharing POV with us! We of course, hope to return!"
