  • A perfect lake getaway without any frills.

"We felt tucked away in nature, having just enough amenities to make our stay comfortable. Our favorite memories will be eating breakfast on the deck just outside the cottage looking down through the woods at the lake and enjoying the most spectacular sunsets from the deck a short distance down by the edge of the lake. We also loved being close enough to the water to hear the waves lapping against the shore as we went to sleep! This was a totally relaxing environment for a vacation."

  • beautiful home with plenty of room

"We had a wonderful stay and helpful and accommodating interactions with the owner and their representative. The home was perfect for our group of 8 adults and could have accommodated groups with several couples and children equally well. The great room is beautiful and looks out on the private wooded lot and the two gas fireplaces make the home very cozy during our winter stay."

  • Great family getaway right on the lake!

"while being very rustic, this place definitely has all the comforts of home. We enjoyed visiting friends, hitting some of the local restaurants and a few short hikes. Bring your own toys for the water. It's very shallow off the dock so great for kids. Water is very clear. The neighborhood folks are very friendly and welcoming. One of the best sunset views on the lake -just bring a couple chairs to the dock and enjoy! A few helpful notes for future visitors. Very well stocked with spices, and pots/pans, dishes etc. there is no blender. There is a washing machine and no dryer but plenty of clothesline strung and clothespins. Water shoes are recommended for the water. It's a bit rocky and our teens thought it was slimy. Also wifi and cable though we didn't turn the tv on once. It was neat to stay in a place with such obvious family history. The owners were very pleasant and helpful as well. We would absolutely rent again!"

  • Quiet Camp On A Small Pond

"If you're a family looking for a quiet retreat but don't mind close neighbors this is for you. If you want absolute quiet and privacy this may not be the place for you. Otherwise it is clean and you have everything you need including the awesome dock and good fishing. Really nothing negative to say and the owners were easy to deal with and very nice."
