Along the shore of Lake Wentworth at Wolfeboro, you'll find the sprawling Wentworth State Park, a popular swimming, picnicking, boating and fishing spot. Wolfeboro is also home to a couple of small but interesting local museums, including the New England Boat Museum. Around 30 minutes to the north, Pine River State Forest has miles of beautiful trails through oak and pine woodland interspersed with wetland habitats.
