  • Great house in a great location!

"This was our 4th year in a row renting this house. It's is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. My kids, wife and I love the proximity to great hiking and river activities. The owner has been great and the place is very clean. The open kitchen and great room are perfect for hanging out after a day of outdoor fun, and the screen porch is just fantastic early in the morning and for a cool breeze on a hot night. Off course the giant tub is a favorite for the kids and bubble baths. We'll be back for sure."

  • Luxurious renovated farmhouse with gorgeous views!

"We stayed for a week with three children aged 10, 13 &15 and a dog and we all had a wonderful time. The house has been renovated with enormous care and attention to detail. The house is very stylish and extremely comfortable, down to the lovely sheets on the beds. There is a very well stocked games closet should the weather stop you from going outside but if the sun is shining, the place to be is down by the river (just a couple of minutes away). It is so beautiful and the perfect place for a tranquil afternoon. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need. It is also gorgeous. I felt sad to return to my sad old kitchen at the end of the vacation!!! The screened porch is ideal for evenings and the fire pit meant we could enjoy s'mores while star gazing. Truly the perfect house!"

  • Perfect!

"We had such an incredible time at Rocky Pond! My husband and I wanted to spend some time with our 18 year old daughter who is spending the fall in Nashua. The camp is close enough to Nashua to head over for a nice dinner, but far enough out of town to feel secluded. Hollis has a couple of nice eating spots and I think I stopped at nearby Lull Farm every day for treats. The camp has a great beach and fire pit. I drank coffee on the beach in the morning and wine in the evening. We had an otter that swam by twice a day. We canoed, picked apples, and took several hikes. Hollis is about 1.5 hours from the White Mountains and about an hour to Mount Monadnock. We made both trips. We also hiked nearby Beaver Brook. My brothers drove over from the South Shore and Philly. Our older daughter came up from Tallahassee. We are from Pensacola. There was plenty of room for everyone. The space was great. Kitchen, beds, bathroom, living room. Love that screened in porch. The wood stove kept us cozy at night. Such cool nostalgia too. Thank you so much Freddie for allowing us to stay at Rocky Pond"
