  • Weekend in the Country!

"Gorgeous property and the perfect getaway from the city! This charming house is a perfect stay for every season; be it during the beautiful New England foliage season or when Spring makes its first entrance with flowers blooming all around you. If you're looking for a weekend in the country, this is the place to be. Lots of great trails, and plenty of fun restaurants and craft stores in Peterborough, just a short ride away."

  • Wow!!! Stunning, immaculate and comfortable

"Wow!!!! We had a fantastic snowy weekend and we will recommend this spectacular property to all of my friends. I had never stayed in a home like this before. It is typical of American mid-century modern architecture (think Frank Lloyd Wright) so simple and straight lines, huge rooms, and walls of glass that bring the outdoors in. It was clearly renovated with love -- every window, every light switch, every button works perfectly. There is even a 1950's blender built in to the kitchen counter. Very special. The rooms are pristine, and are well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed hiking around the property, with mountain views at every turn. The manager was considerate and attentive. We brought another couple with us and next time hope to bring more friends and family to attempt to fill all the endless rooms and explore the area. We will definitely rent again!"

  • Beautiful lakeside getaway

"We needed a short notice weekend getaway for some rest and relaxation. This rental fit the profile to a tee and was a wonderful place to stay. The owner was great and gave us all the help we needed leading up to our trip and then once we got there. Very friendly and thorough. The house was beautiful and came with everything we needed. We would love to come back in the warmer months to take full advantage of the lake and all the amenities offered. We would highly recommend this rental. Everything about it was fabulous."

  • Happy wife, happy dogs. Happy man.

"We wanted to get our city dogs out to the country where they could be off leash. This being the last house on the road helped us to feel comfortable letting the dogs run. We _loved_ sitting in front of the outdoor fireplace throwing the ball for the dogs. Very surprised that there were very few (almost no) horse flies or mosquitos. We used the charcoal bbq for dinners but mostly went to the local diner (FlipSide) for breakfasts. This summer had very hot and humid moments but the AC kept the house cool. Keene is a very nice small city with a welcoming main street with reasonable restaurants, a co-op, theatre, and my wife especially enjoyed the 2nd hand shops for vintage clothing. We are looking into returning during the foliage."
