  • Nice property and clean house

"Six of us stayed at the house in August 2016 for the Hampshire 100 Mountain Bike Race - three adults (+ one dog) in the main house and three adults in the guest house. The main house was charming and comfortable. The guest house was spacious and the extra beds and bathrooms over there were especially nice to have - no one felt cramped. The kitchen was fairly well-stocked. At the end of the road are some trails, and the house is also a short drive from the Pak Monadnock mountains and other trails - quite a convenient location for mountain bikers/trail runners/hikers. Also plenty of nice paved and dirt roads in the area for bike riding. We brought our dog and the quiet, dirt road was nice for walking her. We would stay here again."

  • Great place for the Thanksgiving holiday

"We had eleven overnighters and eighteen for Thanksgiving turkey -- this house accommodated us wonderfully! There are beds everywhere, so no problem with sleeping arrangements; more than enough plates and silverware for our meal. The Harrises left the hot tub on which was a hit; when we arrived the wood stove was pumping out heat and the house was toasty warm. We appreciated the call from the Harrises when we arrived checking to make sure everything was working for us. We would definitely consider renting this house again."

  • Perfect!

"We had such an incredible time at Rocky Pond! My husband and I wanted to spend some time with our 18 year old daughter who is spending the fall in Nashua. The camp is close enough to Nashua to head over for a nice dinner, but far enough out of town to feel secluded. Hollis has a couple of nice eating spots and I think I stopped at nearby Lull Farm every day for treats. The camp has a great beach and fire pit. I drank coffee on the beach in the morning and wine in the evening. We had an otter that swam by twice a day. We canoed, picked apples, and took several hikes. Hollis is about 1.5 hours from the White Mountains and about an hour to Mount Monadnock. We made both trips. We also hiked nearby Beaver Brook. My brothers drove over from the South Shore and Philly. Our older daughter came up from Tallahassee. We are from Pensacola. There was plenty of room for everyone. The space was great. Kitchen, beds, bathroom, living room. Love that screened in porch. The wood stove kept us cozy at night. Such cool nostalgia too. Thank you so much Freddie for allowing us to stay at Rocky Pond"
