  • Cozy, homey, private retreat

"My girlfriend and I were looking for a quiet get away in vermont and this place was definately a fantastic choice on our part. It's an adorable size; very small but that only adds to the aesthetic. It gives off a "grandmas cottage" type of feel, welcoming you with the warm scent of organic soaps, oven cooking and mellow, mountain pawn decore. The owner is also appeared to be a very sweet, genuine woman. I never formally met her, but she spoke very politely and deliberately went out of her way to assure we would have a wonderful stay there whilst also assuring our privacy. Over all this cabin was just what we were looking for and more; the only thing negative i can gather from my stay was that the hot water heater was incredibly small and made showering a challenge (especially when the knobs are both confusing/unreliable). The stove also only has one setting for its temperature (its pretty old). These two problems, however, are legitimately it though. The host provided all the firewood you need, soaps and shampoos, bath robes, tools such as an axe/snow shovel, candles for dinner, full cooking utensils, an assortment of teas, a long list of places to go or things to do nearby, places to eat, and offered discounts for multiple things. I hightly recommend this cabin; 10/10 its got a kind size bed with memory foam, what more do you want"

  • Nice cottage on a gorgeous lake!

"Stayed at the Granite Lake Cottage this past weekend and had a really nice stay. The cottage was a lot larger than we had anticipated which was great since we were a party of 6 adults. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. They replaced the refrigerator the day we arrived which was fine - even though the new one had to go in the living room since it didn't fit (not a big deal). Judi was great at getting us checked in and acquainted to the area. Saw some loons right off the dock. Enjoyed using all of the floats and boats that were stored in the garage. Pros: Cottage (beautiful living area looking over the lake, bedrooms are large), Lake, Nice Walk Around the Lake, Plenty of floats/kayaks/canoes to use. Cons: Little to no yard for playing lawn games - property is kind of wedged in between two other properties, right next to busy public boat launch, no WIFI or Cell Service (though I was OK with this!), no grill (there is a small propane camping grill but it is kind of useless - bring your own!) Overall a really nice stay and one we will keep in mind for the future."

  • Charming Vermont home in a lovely setting

"We came to Clark Farm to celebrate a milestone birthday and to go skiing for New Years. The layout of the home was perfect for our two families of four. Seth, who was our contact, was an incredible help and very responsive to any of our questions or needs. Seth even helped us prepare a beautiful birthday welcome gift the day we arrived. The house is well laid out with plenty of space. The kitchen, dining, family room area worked great for gathering and meals. We had about 20" of snow during our stay and the roads were cleared immediately. We also used the opportunity to sled through the apple orchard and snowshoe on the property. We had easy 30 minute drives to both Mt Snow and Stratton. We ate at Artisan and Williamsville Eatery which are both within five minutes and absolutely delicious with top quality service."
