  • nice place to get away from it all!

"Cozy cottage, lots of recent upgrades. Was a nice winter getaway with woodstove and extra electric baseboard heat. Plenty of new clean towels and awesome firm mattresses! Hooked computer up to TV to watch netflix. Hope to check out the place during the summer since the yard and firepit area on the pond look like they offer some great summer entertainment!"

  • Lake Monomonac Memorable Vacation

"My husband and I spent a week at this lovely camp and could not have been more satisfied! The view of the lake and sandy beach were perfect, the furniture comfortable, the showers (two of them... one inside and one out!) had plenty of hot water, and the kitchen well equipped! There was plenty of room for company and we were able to bring our fishing boat and even caught fish! Loved it!!!"

  • Happy wife, happy dogs. Happy man.

"We wanted to get our city dogs out to the country where they could be off leash. This being the last house on the road helped us to feel comfortable letting the dogs run. We _loved_ sitting in front of the outdoor fireplace throwing the ball for the dogs. Very surprised that there were very few (almost no) horse flies or mosquitos. We used the charcoal bbq for dinners but mostly went to the local diner (FlipSide) for breakfasts. This summer had very hot and humid moments but the AC kept the house cool. Keene is a very nice small city with a welcoming main street with reasonable restaurants, a co-op, theatre, and my wife especially enjoyed the 2nd hand shops for vintage clothing. We are looking into returning during the foliage."
