  • Feels like home, with a better view!

"This was the perfect accommodation for our Fall foliage visit to NH. It was very clean, well kept, and fully stocked with everything we needed to feel at home. Beds were quite comfortable and for the morning there was even a waffle maker and Keurig brewer that we took advantage of. There's an amazing view of the mountains from inside and outside. It is minutes away from downtown North Conway with lots of great restaurants and shops. We also were on the Kancamagus highway within minutes for some great hiking trails. Don't forget to stop at White Mountain Cider Co. for a great lunch, apple cider, and donuts. We're already looking to plan our winter getaway here."

  • nest \ˈnest\ noun 2. a place of rest, retreat, or lodging

"An amazing Mountain Retreat (snow included!) “The Nest” was the perfect place for our New Year's Eve holiday family gathering. There is more than enough space and you really get a lot of bang for your buck. The location is a three minute drive to Attitash and it was very neat and clean. This spacious retreat truly has everything you could ever think of and more than enough space and parking for our group of 7 adults and six kids aged 8 - 14. From a fully stocked kitchen, clean bedding and towels, comfortable beds, games, DVD’s, foosball table, modern appliances, dishwasher, washer & dryer, gas grill, coffee maker, and new thermostats the house had all the comforts of home and so much more. The fireplace was ready-to-go with a season’s worth of firewood. The Wi-Fi met the demands of our tech-savvy teens and the cable and TV in the main room met most of our needs. The owners are very kind and were very accommodating and responsive to our questions and request for more sand and salt in the driveway after the snow. The snowstorm was an added bonus to our family ski vacation (20 inches!). The décor is beautiful, tasteful, and up-to-date. It’s not ski in/ski out or on the shuttle route, but you would be hard pressed to find a better value for your money than “The Nest.” Our only criticism would be the steep & slippery driveway (a bit treacherous with all the snow); you really need 4 wheel or AWD to get in and out in the snow- we were warned about this in advance though. One more thing at the teenagers request would be the addition of a TV in the 1st floor entry room (this is where the cousins spent most of their time). Overall, thirteen of us were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend it to large groups or families. Thank you Tamara and Matthew :-) We hope to return again someday."

  • Cozy spot in the Mountains over Storyland

"My only hesitation in writing this review is that the rental might become even more popular, and harder for my family and I to return each year! Great spot, amazing views, wonderful owner."
