  • Family vacation in New Hampshire

"What a wonderful place to stay. We had never been to New Hampshire before and we will definitely be back. We were in Conway for the week of 4th of July. The town had a great parade and events in the town park for everyone. They had one of the best firework displays I have ever seen. The people were very nice and helpful. The shops in town were unique and fun to visit. We visited Wildcat mountain and hike to a waterfall there and took the gondola to the top of the mountain which was so much fun. I would recommend this home for a great place to stay. The owner was great. He always responded to my emails and answered all of my questions. The house was beautiful with the woods behind it and the kids loved exploring it. We were very pleased with our visit. We will plan to visit again."

  • great property!

"Enjoyed our stay at this lovely vacation home in the mountains for the most part. The home was large enough to accommodate our family of 8 with ample room to allow some quiet time. Great hot tub, beautiful mountain views. The house was clean and very warm. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm heated floors! The downside of the house was that the oven did not work at all which presented a huge problem as we attempted to cook our 8 lb prime rib of beef. After 4 hours at a temperate of 400 degrees, the roast was still not cooked. I spent $90.00 on this prime rib and to not have the oven work properly, we were Very disappointed. The kitchen had no pot holders, and a tiny cheap can opener that hardly worked. There were no kitchen drying towels. Speaking of towels...very limited supply for showering. We did laundry during our 3 night stay. I did notify the owner of the problems we had after we left and he responded...time for a new oven. lol oh well."

  • RECHARGED

"Knotty Pine Retreat was the perfect place to recharge the batteries. Location is less than 5 min to Main St. North Conway and it is moments away from a nice relaxing float in the Saco River. If you are planning a float, make sure you call around to the Saco float companies and check water flow. For the hiker/climber it's minutes from Cathedral Ledge and Diana's bath. Far enough away from all the chaos and tourism of North Conway to really make you feel like you are on vacation. Bedrooms and Bathrooms are in good condition and for those who don't want to eat out every night, the kitchen is in great cooking order. Overall, if you are looking for a place to relax that has the comforts of home and access to all the adventures that N. Conway has to offer, then this is the place. Owners are great to work with and very accommodating. Thank you for letting us enjoy your house on our long weekend! We will definitely be back and hopefully soon."
