  • Perfect winter mountain retreat

"We have recently returned from a one week stay at this wondefully appointed, perfectly situated home. We travelled with our 4 grown children, two of whom brought partners, so our party numbered eight. We were pleased from the moment we walked in the door. The home was exactly as pictured, with large cozy open concept living area with a great stone fireplace. This made for wonderful evenings watching movies, playing games, talking and enjoying family togetherness! The beautiful, newly renovated kitchen was terrific for preparing meals together, and Wendy, our terrific host, was generous in sharing her spices and cooking essentials. We ate in every night, enjoying delicious home cooked meals. During the days, we enjoyed skiing at nearby Bretton Woods, and hiking around Franconia and Crawford Notch. We treated ourselves to an easy walk to the famed Pollys Pancake Parlor for a delicious and memorable brunch. Definitely a must for the pure maple sugar products and delicious breakfast selections. I should also mention that all the beds were very comfortable, with high quality linens, so after an active, long day, it was wonderful to crawl into a cozy bed. We also very much appreciated the fact, that just out the door, there were lovely places to walk. The hosts provided lots of books and maps for hikes and adventures in the White Mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home, as well as the availability and generosity of the hosts. We will absolutely be back take advantage of this lovely home during all 4 distinct New England seasons."

  • Peaceful and charming cabin!

"My husband and I adored this place. The scenery is gorgeous, and the cabin is so secluded and peaceful. Sue is really good about details, and the cabin is stocked with everything for a comfortable stay (linens, kitchen supplies, first aid, water, candles, games...ect.). Everything was clean and organized. Hiking around the property was beautiful. This is a gem for anyone looking for a low key get-away with a rustic, charming accommodation."

  • Everything we needed.

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We traveled to Coolidge Falls 90 for the Columbus Day weekend with 11 adults, 1 child (3 years old), and 2 dogs. The house was exactly as described in the listing and fit our needs well. We were able to squeeze in 3 large (SUV) vehicles in the parking area (even though they said it was for 2 vehicles), and the extra cars were able to be parked 2-minutes away at the "overflow parking" area. The kitchen was beautiful and well appointed (but no blender!). We loved how updated the kitchen was, and hope the bathrooms would be updated soon as well (while clean, they are showing age). We also got a lot of use out of the HUGE dining table, and were able to fit our whole crew around it for meals. The pool table was fun, as was having fires in the fire places. Both TVs worked well, and the wi-fi was well enjoyed by all. The only (small) issues we had were that there were no trash cans in any of the bathrooms, which was a bit annoying... and the wine refrigerator in the basement seemed like the door/feet were broken, since it leaned forward and was unstable... not a big deal, we just chose not to use it, but it seemed odd. Otherwise, the property seemed well maintained and clean, we will very likely stay here again!"
