  • Great location and all of he amenities

"We stayed here for a quick weekend for storyland and he surrounding area. Great setup for 3-4 kids and very spacious. Also appreciated its proximity to story land and white mountain national forest."

  • Our third time back, and still amazed and delighted

"We have rented from George and Patti twice before and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and this third time was just as amazing as the first. The cabin is meticulously maintained and is the epitome of comfort. So many thoughtful extras make it a dream to stay there and George and Patti could not be any more welcoming and gracious. They even accommodated a last minute unplanned change to our travel plans, making us very grateful. As mentioned in several other reviews, the cabin is stocked with towels, soaps and kitchen staples like paper towels and spices for cooking. The full laundry in the basement makes it easy to travel light and to wash sweaty ski clothes daily. Although it was cold, we still like to grill out and the grill was ready to go. Three bedrooms makes plenty of room for kids or for parties of adults, and the sleeper sofa in the basement gives a little extra capacity. The gas fireplace (nice upgrade from before!) adds plenty of extra warmth as well as providing that cozy visual effect, and no smoky smell in the house. If you are looking for a very nice place to stay in the White Mountains, any season, look no further. You have found the perfect place with the nicest hosts. Book it at once! Thanks again, Roys! We'll be booking again next year."

  • Wonderful Stay

"We spent a week with my husband, 18 month old daughter, my brother, and my girlfriend and her boyfriend and 2 kids (10 and 12). We had such a blast! The house is walking distance to the private beach on the Saco, where we tubed and it was deep enough to swim a bit. It's also a short drive to many other swimming holes, and Diana's Bath, which is great for a short hike and some "water slides." Humphreys ledge is close by as well, where you can jump in. We spent time at Story Land too, right around the corner. It's a short ride into North Conway for all the local shops. My daughter had an amazing time. The house was clean, and there was plenty of room for all 8 of us to stretch out and relax while we were there. There were two full baths, which was great. There is AC upstairs, which worked great. It was nice to be able to cook while we were there so there wasn't the added cost of dining out. There were plenty of pots, pans, plates, bowls, etc and a dishwasher to make clean up easy. (Although we did have to go to Glen Junction at least once :) Best breakfast and right down the street!) The owners were very helpful, answering questions and emailing us in advance of our stay to let us know about little things. They were very responsive, and pleasant to do business with. We would stay here again in a heartbeat."

  • Comfortable and cozy!

"We enjoyed our long weekend stay at this perfect condo. We were close to all the major ski areas, Nestlenook Farm, North Conway and more. Although the weather came in with a serious arctic blast and the air temperature dropped to -17 one night with wind chills of -35 that day, the condo was warm and cozy. We purchased a couple bundles of firewood while out exploring and enjoyed a fire and movie at night. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc. Be sure to bring all that you want for cooking including staples, spices, and olive oil. There were clean bed and bath linens and the place was immaculate! The in-unit washer-dryer was a nice touch to warm up our clothing before heading outside. Great view from the double living room sliders; my artist mother enjoyed painting the winter scenes while staying warm inside. The balcony off the sliders would be ideal for a cup of coffee in the morning in more seasonable temperatures. Instructions were clear and easy to follow, which Ken emailed a couple weeks before our trip. Will definitely return next winter."
