  • Beautiful Views From Spacious Mountain Retreat

"Well appointed cabin with plenty of room for everyone. Nicely decorated so if felt like a home away from home. Great books about the area in the cabin, as well as puzzles and games. We loved waking up every morning to the different views of the valley. Some mornings shrouded in fog, others crystal clear. We saw deer through binoculars near the lake, and a doe and fawn right on the property. Also, some of the largest wild turkeys we had ever seen. Raptors and Hummingbirds were among the many species of birds we saw on the property. We hiked many trails in the White Mountain National Forest, a highlight being Mount Washington. If you like easy waterfall trails, check out Sabbaday Falls and The Basin. Best bang for your buck, free. The Flume Gorge is highly overrated and expensive. $62 for a family of four and way too crowded to enjoy nature. We barely scratched the surface of the many trails we wanted to explore. Will definitely return to this special place."

  • A little slice of heaven

"I cannot say enough good about this sweet place. The cabin is well stocked with everything you might need and the small touches (wine on arrival) shows extreme pride and care taken by the owners. We were on a "working vacation" and the Internet speed was perfect for my husband (which is saying a lot). My boys (2 and 6) spent every waking minute outside from splashing in the pond to laying on the hammock and walking in the woods. We were traveling with grandma and grandpa and the cable tv was a great, so grandpa didn't miss and of "his shows".The view from the upstairs deck is beautiful, my husband and I spent every evening star gazing (there is a TON of them). We did most of our cooking in and the appliances are beautiful, the BBQ is awesome!! This is a perfect place to stay with or without kids. It's the perfect distance for checking out the surrounding areas ( Santa's Village is a must), although nothing is within walking distance other than the woods. The owner is very attentive without being intrusive or overbearing. I cannot believe that we were blessed enough to find this little gem. As a family from Southern California this was a perfect introduction to the beautiful Northwest, we will be making it our "summer place". Thank you Jennifer you do a great job!!"

  • Perfect Mountain Home

"This house is wonderful! We rented the house for a weekend away with friends and there was more than enough space for everyone to either be together or do their own thing. The views and location are fantastic - very close to Mt Washington hotel, Bretton Woods, and hiking. We will absolutely be back to stay in the winter."

  • Wonderful Stay!

"My husband and I spent a week at this beautiful home with our 4 children. The lovely home was in great condition (clean, well-stocked w/linens, etc.) and the views were spectacular. I especially loved the fact that our children had the ability to run around the expansive property and do some walking in the woods. I would highly recommend this house."
