  • beautiful property, excellent location

"We were a group of 6 adults and this house suited our needs perfectly. The house was very clean, with beautiful surroundings and scenery. The first day we were there, the central air conditioning wasn't working properly. We called the property manager, who responded quickly and the a/c was fixed. The location can't be beat, with nature hikes and trails all within a short drive away and shopping walking distance. We all had a wonderful vacation and really enjoyed this large, beautiful home."

  • Family Vacation

"My wife and I took our three boys (12, 10 ans 21 months) up to the mountains for a couple of days. The house was perfect for us and had plenty of room, more than we actually needed. We could have shared with another couple and their children if we wanted. Everything was clean and in good order. New appliances, kitchen, coffee pot - basically we felt like we were in our house and didn't want for anything. All three levels of the house are clean and well kept. The deck was nice to have to sit out and relax. Location was perfect for us. Golf at the Omni, Mt. Washington is 5 minutes away. Bretton Woods was across the street. And when we traveled to StoryLand, it was only 40 minutes or a beautiful drive. Plenty to do in the area for families or for groups out for adventure. Naturally, it is perfect for skiing in the winter given the location."

  • Everything you need for relaxing family fun

"This is a relaxed and fun house that is large enough to accommodate two families. The kids enjoyed ping pong and foosball in the basement - the equipment has seen better days, but the pieces were all there. Outside, we had a fire going in the fire pit every night. There is sufficient privacy that we didn't feel like we were bothering anyone. There was plenty of parking. Outside, there was another table on the wraparound deck. Under the deck, there are two canoes that are quite serviceable. Inside, three bathrooms and three bedrooms meant that we never felt crowded. Everything was functional and clean. We particularly liked the long trestle table for big family meals. We brought along all the supplies mentioned on the VRBO packing list, but you may want to check the house supplies first, before you go shopping and double up on supplies. We produced family meals every night with the equipment supplied, but I was glad that I brought my own good knives (and I could have used a couple of serving bowls). Of note, the basement is very damp. There is a dehumidifier - it is set up to drain into a sink so that we didn't have to keep emptying it. Activities: your choice, a long walk or a short drive to the beautiful lakefront beach and playground - a lovely jewel of a family retreat. North Conway conveniences are only 10 minutes away."
