  • Best 4th of July weekend

"Paula and Robert were so pleasant to work with! Anything I needed or had a question about they responded almost immediately. Their unit is clean, comfortable, and welcoming with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. Waking up every morning to sit on one of the 2 decks looking at that view made me never want to leave! I have been vacationing at Deer Park Resort every year my entire life and by far the building their unit is located is by far the best of the best. You are conveniently located by the beach and recreation center. Paula and Robert, thanks again for making our weekend awesome! We will definitely be back again next year!"

  • Beautiful condo in the heart of the White Mountains

"My family and I have rented this condo for the past two years during the Highland Games at Loon Mountain. It has great proximity to Loon Mountain and is an absolutely beautiful condo. Very well maintained and beautifully furnished. If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay near Loon Mountain, this is the place! The owners were great to work with, too!"

  • Great place to stay in a great location

"Three of us friends stayed here for a weekend during the summer and had a great time. Even though it seems cozy due to its layout, this cabin has plenty of room, and we probably could've had one or two extra people with us. That said, we really didn't spend much time indoors. The backyard area is fantastic. We spent most of our leisure time hanging out in the back porch, grilling by the side porch, and at night, sitting by the fire pit in the back. The location is also conveniently close to town for whenever we need to make supply runs and/or go out for a meal or mini golf. So why 4 stars? Mainly because the cabin is old and a little rundown. If you're looking for luxury, space, and somewhere to spend a lot of time indoors, I would stay elsewhere. But if you value location, coziness, and true log cabin feel, this is a great option."

  • Beautiful condo in a very nice setting

"Arrived around 8 pm on a Fri. nite at the beginning of a thunderstorm to an unusual situation--the condo had not been cleaned. Beds were slept in, dishes were dirty in dishwasher, etc., & I couldn't immediately reach Catherine (the owner). I had to remind myself that she had very good reviews online, so we tried to remain calm (in the storm!). Because we had a dog, we couldn't just "leave" & go somewhere else, and we were 3 hours from home. We decided to give the owner the benefit of the doubt, & just clean the condo ourselves--sheets, towels, bathrooms, kitchen, etc. Long story short, Catherine was on vacation, out of the country, in a different time zone, & of course she could never have anticipated what happened to us. She was as horrified as we were, & she definitely stayed in touch & made everything right. And we probably cleaned the unit better than a cleaning company would have, anyway. We also discovered a broken bed in the 3rd bed(bunk)room, which I'm not sure a cleaning company would have done. But, this condo was already "basically" clean & beautiful, spacious and very comfortable, & we were able to make it work for us. Upstairs, the master bedroom was big, & had its own bath. The bunk room sleeps 4 comfortably (maybe 5)--we had just 2 in there, & has its own bath. The 3rd bedroom is 1st floor, with a double or queen bed & bath, & was good for our daughter who has the dog. We bring our own percolater when we travel, but the condo seems to have everything you would need--coffee maker, full size fridge, dishes, etc. We don't cook on vacation, so we may have kept fruit & water in the fridge, & brought our own coffee cups & paper plates from home. We never used the tv's--I think there may have been 4(!), as we were active outdoors with family, all 3-4 days of our trip. We would definitely stay here again--so close to everything--and so nice, I'd love to own it!! Great ice cream up the street, & so much hiking, kayaking & biking...I would recommend!"
