  • Clean and comfortable stay in a great location

"The listing was as pictured, perhaps a little nicer. Well stocked kitchen and a perfect layout for a stay with our 3 & 5 year old. The condo was clean and in good condition with lots of towels and linens. There were even xtra waterproof mattress pads which was awesome because, even though we'd brought our own, I slept better knowing my 3 year old had a stack under him Princess and the Pea style. We were a little sad to leave the convenience of the hallway washer dryer and head back to our dank basement laundry arrangement. Sigh. The full kitchen has all the necessary tools so we hit up the local market and made some meals. We saved money and saved ourselves from dragging overtired kids out to dinner. The entry has a handy billboard with flyers and menus from local spots. The large master bedroom has a king bed, walk in closet, bathroom w/ tub, TV and access to the deck. It also has plenty of floor space for air mattress guests. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and a good sized closet. A full bathroom, with tub, is off the hallway. No AC but, with the windows open and fans on, the condo was very cool at night. Everyone enjoyed the couches with recliners on each end (they can be unplugged if your kids won’t stop pushing the button). Nice size table for dining and playing with Matchbox cars. The owner was quick to respond to reservation emails and the clubhouse staff was very friendly. Had we needed them I'm sure they would have taken good care of us. The clubhouse could stand a little updating but it's clean and the included pass gets your crew in for free! We all enjoyed the pool, big Jacuzzi, dry sauna, ping pong tables, video games and playground. No need to bring pool towels, they have stacks at the front desk. It’s a very short drive to North Conway and StoryLand. It's about a 40 min drive to the Lincoln area. We enjoyed the package ticket to Flume Gorge and Cannon Mountain's Ariel Tramway (free ski museum at Cannon). We happily happened upon Crawford Notch State Park which beautifully offers up history, hiking, picnic tables, photo ops, a gift shop, a small cafe and public restrooms. We would recommend this rental to friends and family without hesitation. Thanks for a great stay!"

  • Excellent VRBO rental

"We loved our 9 nights in this home near Franconia Notch. First, it is very private, but has easy access to all the attractions of Franconia Notch and the White Mountains. The only “noise” we heard was the babbling brook on the property. We particularly liked that we could walk down the road and enter some cross country ski paths (get a map at Franconia Lodge) and walk for hours through the forest. We didn’t have to even get in the car to find a place to hike. We only met one other person hiking these trails during our entire visit. However, we did take advantage of many of the activities in the area. The house itself is incredibly well furnished. It has all the items necessary for a relatively serious cook….both in utensils and ingredients. The door of the refrigerator is stocked with sauces and condiments of previous renters. The kitchen is very functional and all appliances work well. There were more than enough dishes and pots and pans for a crowd! We found that the Price Chopper in St. Johnsbury and the Shaws in Littleton were excellent for shopping. The Price Chopper in Lincoln had more limited selections. The showers were hot and powerful. The master shower is particularly nice with two shower heads. The beds are comfortable. The internet was more than adequate. The latency and speed were adequate. Our only disappointment in the entire rental was that we only saw wild turkey (no bears, no moose) and they weren’t even on the property."

  • Very spacious, nice, and well kept

"It was so nice, spacious, big enough for our family, and in a great location. We would definitely want to do it again. The service was great too, there was a fridge, freezer, counter space... We were definitely very happy."

  • Great weekend

"Our group had a great time at the house! There was plenty of room and the house was clean and comfortable. We had a blast at the pond which was just a short walk away. The store was pretty close by which was nice as well."
