  • Summer getaway

"I would highly recommend this property. The owner was very helpful, quick to respond to questions and a very nice person. The condo was very clean, comfortable and has everything you need to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. It's in a great location and very close to many attractions. Looking forward to staying here again."

  • Family Vacation

"My wife and I took our three boys (12, 10 ans 21 months) up to the mountains for a couple of days. The house was perfect for us and had plenty of room, more than we actually needed. We could have shared with another couple and their children if we wanted. Everything was clean and in good order. New appliances, kitchen, coffee pot - basically we felt like we were in our house and didn't want for anything. All three levels of the house are clean and well kept. The deck was nice to have to sit out and relax. Location was perfect for us. Golf at the Omni, Mt. Washington is 5 minutes away. Bretton Woods was across the street. And when we traveled to StoryLand, it was only 40 minutes or a beautiful drive. Plenty to do in the area for families or for groups out for adventure. Naturally, it is perfect for skiing in the winter given the location."

  • Perfect For Families

"This is our families second time staying and once again it was perfect for our young kids. The boys ages 3 and 6 had a great time playing in the brook as did our dog, there are even trails on the other side of the brook which I went to try out with the dog but we were interrupted by a bear about 3 minutes from the house!!! The house is really close to town but completely secluded and very quiet. Also close to Storyland for the kids and The Saco River which was a refreshing break as it was unseasonably warm when we visited. The kitchen is well equipped and everything was spotless. Everyone slept comfortably (especially with the windows open and the sound of the brook), there was even a bed rail that we could attach to the bottom bunk bed for our 3 year old so we didn't have to bring our own. We did not want to leave and are already thinking about planning another trip in the Winter!"

  • Absolutely Spectacular!

"My husband and I stayed at the mountain house for three nights in February. It was a last minute decision to get away, and Kevin (the owner) and Lou (the caretaker) were great to work with. The transaction was handled quickly and seamlessly. We called Lou when we were getting close to the address, and he met us there. It was awesome to have someone introduce us to the house in person. Everything you could possibly want or need was there! Dry firewood and kindling, blankets and quilts, lots of pillows, books and magazines, games and puzzles, area information, wifi, flashlights and candles if needed, paper products, laundry detergent and ALL of the kitchen necessities... The house was clean, well-maintained, nicely decorated, cozy and comfortable. There is the driveway... We live in New Hampshire and of course read the reviews, so we were totally prepared. It has been such a mild winter that the surface of the driveway was mostly clear. We had absolutely no problem in our AWD SUV, but it did kind of take our breath away! We know from experience, though, that you have to go UP to get those kinds of views. Those views, whether from the house, deck, screened porch or even the driveway, were absolutely spectacular! Over 180 degrees of mountaintops, and the scenes change with the time of day and the weather. We had some clouds and the peaks disappeared, then it snowed and covered everything in a fresh blanket of white and the mountains reappeared. Sunsets were amazing; everything turned pink! We went mainly for the peace and quiet. We wanted to unplug and unwind, and that's exactly what we did! In front of the ENORMOUS fireplace was our favorite spot when the mountains were hiding or it was dark. The house has radiant floor heating, so even though we had one single digit night, we were walking around in our bare feet. It was so private, quiet and still we were thrilled. The entire area is wild and beautiful. We saw the tracks of 5 or 6 different kinds of animals, and one evening when we switched on the outdoor spotlight to watch it snow, a family of raccoons looked in at us kind of annoyed that we disturbed them! Late one morning we saw a bald eagle; breathtakingly beautiful! We definitely recommend the property and will be returning ourselves to this mountaintop treasure. Thanks for sharing, Kevin, and thanks for helping us out, Lou!"
