  • Excellent location for touring the Great North Woods

"Chose the cabin as a base camp for winter hiking in the Great North Woods. Beautiful and convenient location. Everything we needed for a cozy and romantic stay."

  • The view was spectacular!

"We had to buy a shovel. Ice in front of the one door available. They should really shovel out front door. Only one exit available with 15 people staying is a safety issue. Large enough for all of us and spectacular view! Could be a bit cleaner. Moved couch to find a sock and it was dirty. Had to take garbage with us on final day, because transfer station didn't opened until 12:00. Garbage removal should be included with the high rental price. Assistance was readily available when we had issues with tv, heat and hot water. The views once again made our stay memorable!"

  • Cute & comfortable

"Needed a place to stay for 3 nights while in the area. Basic amenities included a kitchen (sans dishwasher), dining area with table, small deck, living room with DVD player, 1 bedroom with queen, 1 bedroom with twin and in-between area with 2 twins. Walking distance to lake. The only issue was occasional electrical overload which was easily remedied via the fuse box in the living room. Price was great and offered much more character than a hotel room. Owner easy to deal with. Would return."

  • Our 3rd stay and it was fantastic as usual...

"This is one of the most perfect spots on the lake with over 200 feet of frontage and it's own private beach. We have stayed 3 times and enjoyed the beach, dock, perch and fires by the chiminea at night. There is a store near by if you need anything (extra ice) and also some nice spots in town to go to. We had the opportunity to meet and chat with Bryan on this trip and he filled us in on some of the history of the cabin that we hadn't heard before. Wendy and Bryan are both fantastic to deal with. I'm afraid to tell too many people about this place because I want to make sure that there is always availability for our family. : ) P.S. Don't forget to sign the guest book!"
