  • Apt 168 - New York City Stay

"The apartment was fairly nice. We had enough room to move around. I'd like to let the owners know that they could de-calcify the shower head. Also, the refrigerator would leak water now and then. I think the temps for the refrigerator and freezer need adjusting. Water would just show up on the floor. We tracked it to the refrigerator. Later in our stay (10 days), I tried to adjust the temp settings. We placed some unused wash cloths in the bottom left corner to help absorb the water - it helped a little. We like having access to the washer and dryers. It was convenient to use. The apartment was a little light at night - my wife likes it pitch black and she doesn't like putting on the night blinders that you supplied. I slept well. The apartment was also a little noisy at night - again my wife doesn't like putting in ear plugs (which you supplied), but we slept well anyway! The apartment was not too far from Time Square. We got a lot of good walking in. We never felt nervous about walking in the evening (when it was dark). The doorman (Reggie) was really nice and pointed out a great grocery store 1/2 block away. Thanks 'Mr. October'! All in all our stay was very pleasant."

  • Lots of room, good location

"Our family of 6 persons came to NYC for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, celebrate Thanksgiving together and to go to shows. We found a great spot to watch the parade several blocks from the townhouse and came back to prepare a full turkey dinner in the kitchen. Walking to Times Square and the shows were very close and an easy walk. We had plenty of room for the 6 of us and never felt cramped with the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a luxury in NYC. Because it was cold out, we did not get to use the patio in back, but it looks like a nice place to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Communication with the owner was quick when we needed internet help."

  • Excellent accommodations at the Do Drop In.

"The apartment was pristine, the kitchen was well equipped, nicely furnished living space, it was a quiet street, great coffee shop around the corner, subway station 2 blocks away and Erica could not have been more helpful. I would definitely make a return visit. And, the pictures are accurate."

  • Great location in Brooklyn!

"We had a very comfortable stay in this apartment in Brooklyn. The proximity to the subway was amazing as it is directly across the street from the apartment. The location has some delicious restaurants around it, and many markets to choose from. We were able to walk to downtown Brooklyn, and cross the Brooklyn bridge. We felt safe. We enjoyed the apartment. It was clean, and the beds were comfortable, and it was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. We would definitely recommend this place. If you are a light sleeper though, I would recommend bringing ear plugs. The kitchen was sufficient, and the living area was very comfortable. Great value, and Mattheiu was a pleasure to deal with. ENJOY!!!"
