  • Awesome price for a beautiful place

"My wife, myself, and my mother stayed for a night in December and found the place to be perfect for 4. Very clean and warm. Linda was very helpful and answered all questions. The only negatives have nothing to do with the property. We could not find overnight parking and parked on the street (2 hours max meter time) and figured we would get a large ticket. We did drive around looking for a spot but could not find a lot or garage to stay. Every place was a 2 hour limit. To our surprise we did not get a ticket. You might not be so lucky. A cab or Uber ride to the city will cost you around $75.00 each way. There is a bus route in the area but did not know the route and wanted to get to town quick. If you can figure the bus route you can save some money. If you are looking for a nice, clean and comfortable place to stay without busting the budget, this is a good find."

  • Great place to stay if you are sightseeing in New York

"The view of New York is outstanding, the apartment is a good place to stay if you are sighseeing, it is pretty convenient to get into the city. It is a place that worked for us and very reasonably priced.Michael is a gracious host and answers any questions that you may have and also makes sure that if any problems arise, they are taken care of. We would stay there again to see the city."

  • Perfect place! Plenty of space, cozy house and amazing owner.

"Margo is a wonderful woman. Nice, patient, helped us in everything we needed. Gave us rides, took us to the supermarket and to buy cheese and bread. Showed us the neighborhood and was always available to answer our calls and explain us ways to come and go to Manhattan. The house is very comfortable, beautiful and Margo lent us her portable hitter, for the spring nights. The yard is cute with squirrels, chipmunks and lots of green. Fresh air and peace before and after the crazy NYC. 2 options of bus: 1 from Times Square (156 - Sylvian Avenue), 10 minutes walk, and 1 from George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal (186 - Summit Street), 2 minutes walk. Perfect distance for having the best of Manhattan, Hoboken, North Bergen, Union City and rest. Loved the staying, loved the neighborhood and loved Margo, that became a real friend after all. Even if I had asked her to receive boxes and packages of Internet orders for me. Very patient and great woman."

  • Clean apartment in a great location

"We were a family of six visiting family in NJ and the sights in NYC. North Bergen is ideally located right near the Weehawken ferry for getting into the city, and every one of the half-dozen buses which pass right next to the apartment goes into the city as well. This is a great location in a great neighborhood. There are restaurants and bodegas nearby, and even a Walgreens not too far. The apartment itself was a bit overwhelmed by six people. It is advertised for eight, but the beds are small. Luckily, Nadine has air mattresses and we were able to fit comfortably. Everything is comfortable, and very homey. Nice kitchen, and very clean throughout. A great place for home base for a family on a vacation trip. Thanks Nadine!"
